Eerikki Koivu
Eerikki Koivu (born 29 December 1979 in Kokkola, Finland) is a professional ice hockey defenceman who is currently playing for Lørenskog IK in Norway's GET-ligaen. Career Until 2004, Koivu had played two seasons in Ligue Magnus and the rest of his career in Mestis, the second tier of Finnish hockey. In the 2004–05 season, he played his first five games in SM-liiga with JYP and continued in the team for 2005-06 and 2006–07 seasons. He moved to Norway in 2007 to play with Lørenskog IK. Lørenskog Ishockeyklubb (founded in 1963) is a Norway, Norwegian ice hockey team based in Lørenskog, Norway. The team competed in GET-ligaen from 2008 to 2018. Lørenskog IK Players
is a municipality in Akershus in Viken county, Norway. A suburb of Oslo, it is part of the Oslo urban area and the traditional region of Romerike. The administrative centre of the municipality is the village of Lørenskog. Lørenskog was separated from the municipality of Skedsmo on 1 January 1908. General information Name The municipality (originally the parish) is named after the old (and no longer existent) ''Leirheimr'' farm. The first element is ''leirr'' which means "clay" and the last element is ''heimr'' which means "homestead" or "farm". Thus: "the farm built on clay ground". Kajaanin Hokki is a Finnish ice hockey team based at Kajaani. The team was founded in 1968. The club Hokki was promoted from Suomi-sarja to Mestis in the end of season 2001–02 after beating Diskos of Jyväskylä in qualifications. Hokki's home venue is located in Vimpelinlaakso and has the capacity of 1,591. Cooperation Among key factors to the team's success have been the co-operation contract with Kärpät and the army unit of Kainuu Brigade. Co-operation with Kärpät consists mostly of player exchange between SM-liiga and Mestis, which enhances player development as younger players from Kärpät gain experience playing amongst men in Hokki.
