Edward F. Riley Sr. (November 25, 1895 – February 16, 1990) was an American politician in the state of Washington. Washington State Senate
The Washington State Senate is the upper house of the Washington State Legislature. The body consists of 49 members, each representing a district with a population of nearly 160,000. The State Senate meets at the Legislative Building in Olympia. As with the lower House of Representatives, state senators serve without term limits, though senators serve four-year terms. Senators are elected from the same legislative districts as House members, with each district electing one senator and two representatives. Washington's 35th legislative district is one of forty-nine districts in Washington state for representation in the state legislature. It covers all of Mason County, and parts of Thurston and Kitsap counties. The district's legislators are state senator Drew MacEwen (R) and state representatives Dan Griffey (R; position 1) and Travis Couture (R; position 2). The previous Senator, Tim Sheldon stated in March 2022 that he did not intend to run for reelection in the next cycle.
