Education In Northern Cyprus
Education in Northern Cyprus is organized by the Ministry of National Education and Culture. 5 years of primary education is mandatory. As of 2015, Kemal Dürüst is the Minister of National Education and Culture. Kindergarten Children in Northern Cyprus, below age 6, can attend kindergartens of public and private institutions. Kindergarten is not mandatory. Elementary school Elementary school provides 5 years of education for children between the ages of 6 and 11. All elementary schools are public and free. High school High schools provide a minimum 6 years of education, where 3 years last for junior high school (''Ortaokul''). There are different kinds of high schools in Northern Cypriot education system, such as standard public high schools, private high schools, science high schools, vocational high schools, technical high schools and fine arts high schools. University Of Mediterranean Karpasia
University of Mediterranean Karpasia (UMK; in tr, Akdeniz Karpaz Üniversitesi) is a private university founded in North Nicosia, Northern Cyprus in 2012. The medium of instruction at University of Mediterranean Karpasia is English in most departments.UMK Official Website
An English Proficiency Exam will be held to evaluate prospective students’ language proficiency as much of the instruction at UMK is in English as well as Turkish. University of Mediterranean Karpasia has 4 Faculties and 1 School offering courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. An English Preparatory School is available for those who need to improve their English before starting to study at the specialist programs of the faculties. The university's first graduation ceremony with 72 graduations was on 8 July 2015.

Morphou
Morphou ( el, Μόρφου; tr, Omorfo or ) is a town in the northwestern part of Cyprus, under the ''de facto'' control of Northern Cyprus. It is the administrative center of the Güzelyurt District of Northern Cyprus.
