Eduardo De Acha
Eduardo de Acha y Otáñez (13 March 1878 – 30 November 1928) was a Spanish soldier (Captain of the Artillery) and Knight of the Order of Calatrava. In 1903 he was one of the main architects of the foundation of Club Athletic de Madrid (now Atlético Madrid), an entity of which he would serve as its second president between 1903 and 1907. Early years Acha was born on 13 March 1878 in Madrid as the son of Juan Nicolás de Acha, who founded the Ophthalmic Institute of Madrid, which would later be donated to the state. To thank this initiative, King Alfonso XIII appointed Alberto de Acha Marquis, eldest son of Juan Nicolás and Eduardo's older brother, with a marquess. Enrique Allende
Enrique Timoteo Allende Allende (24 January 1877 – 4 January 1931) was a Spanish businessman and politician, who became a deputy of Riaño between 1905 and 1910 for the Conservative Party. Allende was a lawyer by profession and owner of several iron mines. He is best known, however, for being the very first president of the football club Atlético Madrid in 1903. Early life and education Allende was born on 24 January 1877 in Bilbao, as the son of Tomás Allende, one of the industrial promoters of the Sabero coal company and senator for León in 1896. Eustaquio Celada (1883 - 8 October 1930) was a Spanish footballer who played as a forward for Madrid FC, Athletic de Madrid and Athletic Club. He was one of the most important figures in the amateur beginnings of football in Madrid, being involved in the foundation of both Real Madrid CF and Atlético Madrid). He also started for Madrid in the very first El Clásico in history on 13 May 1902, and featured in two back-to-back Copa del Rey finals in 1906 and 1907. The Copa del Rey 1904 was the second staging of the Copa del Rey, the Spanish football cup competition. The competition was played in 1904 in Madrid. It was notable for its chaotic development and the fact that Athletic Bilbao won the trophy without playing a game. Details Originally, three teams were to participate, one for each region. The newly formed Madrid Football Federation, who organized the competition for the first time (the previous tournament was organized by Madrid CF), invited Athletic Bilbao representing Biscay and Espanyol of Barcelona representing Catalonia.
