Edson (footballer, Born 1991)
Edson Felipe da Cruz (born 1 July 1991) is a Brazilian professional footballer who currently plays for Saudi Arabian club Al-Adalah. Mainly a defensive midfielder, he can also play as a defender. Club career Born in Touros, Rio Grande do Norte, Edson graduated with ABC's youth setup. He made his professional debut on 28 August 2009, coming on as a second-half substitute in a 0–1 away loss against Figueirense for the Série B championship. After being rarely used Edson joined Treze on 12 July 2012, on loan until the end of the year. He eventually returned to his parent club in January 2013, being regularly used during the campaign and scoring his first goal on 10 September, netting the first in a 4–2 home win against Sport. On 11 December 2013 Edson rescinded with ABC, and signed for São Bernardo. On 25 April 2014 he was loaned to Série A club Fluminense until May 2015, with a buyout clause. Touros
Touros (lit. "bulls") is a municipality in Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil. It is known as "Brazil's Corner" because it is located at the northeast corner of the country, being the closest South American city to Africa (2,841 km from Kabrousse in southwestern Senegal). Touros has many fish, and there is a nearby seawater basin in the ocean formed by banks of coral. The Serie B of the Brazilian Championship 2013 was a football competition held in Brazil, equivalent to the second division. It is contested by 20 clubs, between May 24 and November 30. The top four teams will have access to Série A in 2014 and the last four will be relegated to Série C in 2014. 2022 Campeonato Goiano
The 2022 Campeonato Goiano (officially the GOIANÃO 1XBET 2022 for sponsorship reasons) was the 79th edition of Goiás's top professional football league organized by FGF. The competition began on 25 January and ended on 2 April 2022. The competition counted with the participation of Goiatuba and Morrinhos (teams promoted from the 2021 Campeonato Goiano da Divisão de Acesso) that occupied the two places of the two 2021 relegated teams. Grêmio Anápolis were the defending champions but they were eliminated in the first stage. Atlético Goianiense defeated Goiás on aggregate 4–1 winning the Campeonato Goiano for the 16th time. 2017 Copa Do Nordeste
The 2017 Copa do Nordeste was the 14th edition of the main football tournament featuring teams from the Brazilian Northeast Region. The competition featured 20 clubs, with Bahia and Pernambuco having three seeds each, and Ceará, Rio Grande do Norte, Sergipe, Alagoas, Paraíba, Maranhão and Piauí with two seeds each. Bahia defeated Sport 2–1 on aggregate to win their third Copa do Nordeste title. After the format changes implemented by CONMEBOL, Bahia did not qualify to Copa Sudamericana. Instead, they had a berth in the Round of 16 of the 2018 Copa do Brasil. Santa Cruz were the defending champions, but were eliminated by Sport in the semi-finals. Copa do Nordeste (''Cup of the North-East''), also known as Campeonato do Nordeste (''Championship of the North-East'') or Copa Nordeste (''Northeastern Cup''), and sometimes informally referred as Lampions League – in reference to the UEFA Champions League and bandit Lampião, is a Brazilian football competition among Northeastern region teams. The 2014 Campeonato Brasileiro Série A was the 58th edition of the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A, the top-level of professional football in Brazil. Cruzeiro, the defending champions, won the title for the second time in a row and the fourth time overall.
