Ed Tutwiler (golfer)
Edgar Marten Tutwiler, Jr. (July 29, 1919 – November 18, 1988) from Mount Hope, West Virginia was an American amateur golfer. Raised in southern West Virginia, he was a star athlete in high school, excelling in basketball; after initially making a name on the links while in school, Tutwiler captured the first of his eleven West Virginia Amateur crowns in 1939. Following some time in the Oklahoma oil fields, he returned to West Virginia where he ran a number of Charleston area businesses, most predominantly a Cadillac dealership. He moved to Indianapolis, Indiana in 1964 and established a new Cadillac franchise there. Tutwiler won three West Virginia Open titles, two Indiana Amateur's and finished runner-up in the 1964 U.S. Amateur and was a member of the U.S. Walker Cup team in 1965 and 1967. Sam Snead

Eisenhower Trophy
The Eisenhower Trophy (World Men's Amateur Team Championships) is the biennial World Amateur Team Championship for men organized by the International Golf Federation. Since the tournament was first played in 1958, it is named after Dwight D. Eisenhower, the President of the United States at the time, who was a keen amateur golfer. The equivalent competition for women is the Espirito Santo Trophy. Results The 1958 championship resulted in a tie. There was an 18-hole playoff which Australia won with a score of 222 to the United States 224. From 1958 to 2000 the teams had four players with the best three scores counting for each round. From 2002 the teams have been three players with two counting. The 2004, 2010 and 2012 championships were reduced to 54 holes because of bad weather. 1968 Masters Tournament
The 1968 Masters Tournament was the 32nd Masters Tournament, held April 11–14 at Augusta National Golf Club in Augusta, Georgia. Bob Goalby won his only major championship, one stroke ahead of Roberto De Vicenzo, the reigning British Open champion. On the back nine in the final round, Goalby birdied 13 and 14 and eagled 15 to record a 66 (−6) and a total of 277 (−11). At first it appeared that he had tied De Vicenzo and the two would meet in an 18-hole Monday playoff, but De Vicenzo returned an incorrect scorecard showing a par 4 on the 17th hole, instead of a birdie 3, sunk with a two-foot putt. Playing partner Tommy Aaron incorrectly marked the 4 and De Vicenzo failed to catch the mistake and signed the scorecard. USGA rules stated that the higher written score signed by a golfer on his card must stand, and the error gave Goalby the championship. 1966 Masters Tournament
The 1966 Masters Tournament was the 30th Masters Tournament, held April 7–11 at Augusta National Golf Club in Augusta, Georgia. Jack Nicklaus, age 26, earned his third Green Jacket in an 18-hole Monday playoff and became the first back-to-back champion at the Masters. He ended regulation at even-par 288, tied with Tommy Jacobs and Gay Brewer. Nicklaus shot a 70 in the extra round on Monday to defeat Jacobs (72) and Brewer (78). Nicklaus' score the previous year in 1965 was significantly lower at 271 (−17), a record which stood for 32 years. On Sunday, Brewer shot a 33 (−3) on the front nine and then had eight pars as he came to the 72nd hole with a one-shot lead. After hitting his approach shot onto the green, he three-putted from , missing a putt for par to win.
