Ebo Elder
Ebo Elder (born December 23, 1978, in Newnan, Georgia) is a former professional boxer. He is a former WBO NABO Lightweight titleholder, and has also held the IBA Continental Light Welterweight title and WBO Inter-Continental Light Welterweight title. In January 2007 he left boxing to start Reality Ministries and began speaking at churches, colleges, public schools, youth detention centers and more. Ebo's autobiography, "The Great Comeback", is available at www.eboelder.com. Professional boxing career Ebo began boxing at the age of two when his father bought him a punching bag. He had a long amateur career with 139 wins before turning professional in 2000, amassing 16 wins before his first loss. Lakva Sim
Lakva Sim, (born March 10, 1972 as Dugarbaataryn Lkhagva, mn, Дугарбаатарын Лхагва), is a Mongolian former professional boxer who competed from 1995 to 2005. He is a world champion in two weight classes, having held the WBA super-featherweight title in 1999 and the WBA lightweight title in 2004. He is also the first Mongolian boxer to capture a world title. Professional career He turned professional in 1995 and won the WBA super featherweight by defeating Takanori Hatakeyama in 1999. In that same year he later lost the belt to Jong-Kwon Baek, and in 2002 challenged Yodsanan Sor Nanthachai for the vacant WBA super featherweight title, but lost by decision. He later moved up to lightweight and in 2004 fought Miguel Callist for the vacant WBA lightweight title, winning by TKO. Sim was outboxed and lost his belt in his next fight against Juan Diaz. Emmanuel Clottey (born 17 April 1974) is a Ghanaian former professional boxer who competed from 1995 to 2016. As an amateur, he competed at the 1994 Commonwealth Games. He's the brother of fringe contender Judas Clottey and former world champion Joshua Clottey. Professional career Born in Bukom, Ghana, in August 2007, Emmanuel lost to title contender Victor Ortíz at the Grand Plaza Hotel in Houston, Texas. ''The Contender 2'' is a reality television show based on the sport of boxing, but with an element of the (welterweight) competitor's lives and relationships with each other within the show's living quarters, based in Pasadena, California. Filmed in January and February 2006, the show began airing on July 18, 2006. The winner of ''The Contender Season 2'' was decided in a bout at the Staples Center, Los Angeles, broadcast live on September 26, 2006, winning a purse of US$500,000.
