Ebenezer Presbyterian Church (Keene, Kentucky)
Ebenezer Presbyterian Church is located near Keene, Kentucky in Jessamine County, Kentucky, United States. The first Ebenezer Church on the site was organized by Presbyterian minister Adam Rankin around 1790. The first church building, a log structure, was replaced by a stone building in 1803. The property was added to the United States National Register of Historic Places on June 23, 1983. History Adam Rankin founded Ebenezer Church around 1790. A log building was constructed on property owned by Ephraim January. Robert Hamilton Bishop became the second minister of the church in 1803 when Rankin left. Neal McDougal Gordon, the longest-serving pastor of the church, was installed as minister of Ebenezer Church on May 13, 1843, and served as pastor of the church until 1870. Ebenezer Cemetery Association The Ebenezer Cemetery Association was founded in 1922 by descendants of the church founders. The group meets annually on the church grounds for its picnic. Ebenezer Academy, Bethany Presbyterian Church And Cemetery
Ebenezer Academy, Bethany Presbyterian Church and Cemetery is a historic school building, Presbyterian church, and cemetery located six miles north of Statesville in Bethany Township, Iredell County, North Carolina. The log building was constructed in 1823 and housed Ebenezer Academy. The church building was built about 1855, and is a one-story, three bay by five bay, vernacular Greek Revival style frame building with a low gable roof. Also on the property is the contributing church cemetery with burials dating to about 1785. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980. Ebenezer Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church
Old Brick Church, which is also known as Ebenezer Associate Reformed Presbyterian (ARP) Church or First Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church is a church built in 1788 about north of Jenkinsville, South Carolina, Jenkinsville on SC 213 in Fairfield County, South Carolina. It was named to the National Register of Historic Places on August 19, 1971. It is one of the few 18th-century churches surviving in the Midlands, South Carolina, South Carolina midlands. History In the 1770s, Presbyterian settlers from Scottish American, Scotland and Irish American, Ireland built a log church. This was replaced by a brick church on the Little River (Broad River), Little River in 1788. This church is a simple, rectangular, brick building with a gabled roof. The Ebenezer Presbyterian Church, formerly known as the Basel Mission Church, Christiansborg, is a historic Protestant church located in the suburb of Osu in Accra, Ghana. The church was founded by the Basel Evangelical Missionary Society in 1847. Previously near the Christiansborg Castle at a hamlet called Osu Amanfong, where a commemorative monument now stands, the church relocated northwards to its present location near the Salem School when a new chapel was constructed and consecrated in 1902. The church is affiliated to the Presbyterian Church of Ghana. Liturgical services are conducted in English and the Ga language.
