Eamonn O'Brien (Gaelic Football Manager)
Eamonn O'Brien is former manager of Meath and one of Sean Boylan's former selectors. He was born in Walterstown, County Meath, Ireland on September 21, 1960. He managed the Meath Senior Gaelic football team between 2008 and 2010, leading them to one Leinster Senior Football Championship. Managerial career O'Brien was confirmed as Meath manager on 10 November 2008 after a meeting with the county board to succeed Colm Coyle. His team had a reasonably successful 2009 season, where they were defeated by Dublin in the Leinster quarter finals, but went through the qualifier system to reach the All-Ireland semi finals, where they were defeated by Kerry. In 2010, O'Brien's team comprehensively defeated Dublin in the Leinster Semi finals, and went on to win the Leinster final in controversial circumstances against Louth. Séamus McEnaney
Séamus McEnaney (born 1967/1968) is a Gaelic football manager and businessman. He has managed his native Monaghan county team (in two spells), as well as the Meath and Wexford county teams. Business career McEnaney is in charge of Westenra Arms Hotel in the town of Monaghan. In December 2021, ''The Irish Times'' reported that the McEnaney controlled company Brimwood Ltd had been given payments of €15.78 million (including VAT) from the Irish state for asylum seeker accommodation ( direct provision) at eight different properties across five counties in 2020, the largest sum given to any company for that purpose. Joe Sheridan (Gaelic Footballer)
Joe Sheridan is an Irish Gaelic footballer. He plays with the Seneschalstown club and the Meath county team. He was part of the Meath team that made it to the 2002 All-Ireland Minor Championship Final but lost out to Derry. He made headlines for scoring a controversial and illegal late goal in the 2010 Leinster Senior Football Championship Final. The goal stood and Meath got a 1-12 to 1-10 win over Louth. He won Meath Senior Football Championship medals in 2007 and 2009 with Seneschalstown. In March 2012, Sheridan quit the Meath panel due to work commitments in Boston. County Meath (; gle, Contae na Mí or simply ) is a county in the Eastern and Midland Region of Ireland, within the province of Leinster. Colm Coyle
Colm Coyle (born 26 February 1963), is a former Gaelic footballer and former manager from County Meath, Ireland. He was manager of the senior Meath county team from September 2006 to July 2008, having previously played for the county. Playing career Coyle won a Leinster Minor Football Championship medal with Meath in 1980. He made his senior debut for Meath in the 1981/82 National League. He enjoyed much success play inter-county football in the eighty's & ninety's on the Meath teams managed by Sean Boylan. He was part of the Meath team which won the Leinster Championship in 1986, Meath's first since 1970. Coyle then emigrated to America thus being unavailable for Meath's successful Leinster championship defense in 1987.
