(EWN) is an American-based media company that markets and distributes various international television and radio services to ethnic viewers in North America as well as Australia & New Zealand. It was founded in February 2005 and is based in San Diego, California. In 2015, EuroWorld Network underwent a corporate re-branding, the company was renamed eMedia Network. eMedia Network currently distributes over 20 television channels and 2 radio stations catering to the following ethnic groups: Croatian, Hungarian, Macedonian and Serbian. The International programme of Croatian Radio "Voice of Croatia" ( hr, Međunarodni program Hrvatskoga radija "Glas Hrvatske") is the international service of Croatian state radio via satellite and Internet. The programme is for Croatians living abroad, Croatia's minority groups and the international community. While mostly in Croatian, news and segments of up to 15 minutes duration are broadcast in English, German, Italian, Hungarian, and Spanish at different times of the day. M1 (TV Channel)
M1 (M Egy) is a Hungarian television channel owned and operated by Duna Média since 2015. It is also transmitted in high definition. It was the most watched national channel in Hungary and its transmission receiving is 97%. On 15 March 2015, M1 was relaunched as a 24-hour news channel, meaning all variety programming is now transferred to Duna. A 2019 report by the European Federation of Journalists stated that news coverage of Hungarian public broadcaster is not balanced, opposition politicians' viewpoints are nearly absent from the reports, and there is a lack of transparency over the funding and work of MTVA. The report concluded that the "public service media have been deformed into state media." On 15th March 2020, M1 had an overhaul; the gaps were removed from the circle, and a new graphics presentation was unveiled. Hír TV is a Hungarian television news channel, the first of such made in the country. It began broadcasting on 2 January 2003. History Initial years On 26 November 2002, the TV channel was registered using 20 million Hungarian forints (~64.350 euros) of capital. The first CEO of television was Gábor Borókai, who had recently served as Viktor Orbán's first government spokesman (from 1998 to 2002), and the first editor-in-chief was Imre Dlusztus, who was the sometime editor-in-chief of '' Délmagyarország'' (meaning ''"Southern Hungary"''), the local newspaper of Szeged. Duna World is the international television service of Duna Média, the Hungarian public broadcaster. It airs a mix of programming from Duna TV's domestic channels, together with special programmes aimed at the Hungarian diaspora in Europe, Africa, North America (especially in states near the Canada–United States border), Australia, Eurasia (Russia, Belarus, Armenia, Kazakhstan) and now in Asia Pacific. Duna (English: ''Duna Channel'', formerly: ''Duna Televízió'') is one of Hungary's public television channels. "Duna" is the Hungarian name for the Danube. Duna has been the ''national main channel'' of the public media MTVA since 15 March 2015. RTL (previously known as RTL Televizija) is a Croatian free-to-air television network founded on 30 April 2004. It was owned by the RTL Group from 2004 to 2022.
