''EA Sports PGA Tour'' (also marketed as ''EA Sports PGA Tour: Road to the Masters'') is a sports video game developed by EA Tiburon and published by Electronic Arts for PlayStation 5, Windows and Xbox Series X/S. It is an entry in the EA Sports ''PGA Tour'' franchise, the first since 2015’s ''Rory McIlroy PGA Tour''. It is also the first in the series not to bear an athlete’s name in the title since '' PGA Tour 98''. Gameplay The game introduces several new features such as a new gameplay system called Pure Strike, which incorporates parts of a golf shot. It also features integration with ShotLink, the PGA Tour’s statistics tool as well as TrackMan. EA Tiburon is an Electronic Arts video game development studio located in Orlando, Florida, United States founded in 1994. It was formerly known as Tiburon Entertainment, which was acquired by EA in 1998. Nelly Korda (born July 28, 1998) is an American professional golfer who plays on the LPGA Tour, where she has won seven times and reached number one in the Women's World Golf Rankings. Metacritic is a website that review aggregator, aggregates reviews of films, TV shows, music albums, video games and formerly, books. For each product, the scores from each review are averaged (a weighted arithmetic mean, weighted average). Metacritic was created by Jason Dietz, Marc Doyle, and Julie Doyle Roberts in 1999. The site provides an excerpt from each review and hyperlinks to its source. A color of green, yellow or red summarizes the critics' recommendations. It is regarded as the foremost online review aggregation site for the video game industry. Metacritic's scoring converts each review into a percentage, either mathematically from the mark given, or what the site decides subjectively from a qualitative review.
