An elimination reaction is a type of organic reaction in which two substituents are removed from a molecule in either a one- or two-step mechanism. The one-step mechanism is known as the E2 reaction, and the two-step mechanism is known as the E1 reaction. The numbers refer not to the number of steps in the mechanism, but rather to the kinetics of the reaction: E2 is bimolecular (second-order) while E1 is unimolecular (first-order). In cases where the molecule is able to stabilize an anion but possesses a poor leaving group, a third type of reaction, E1cB-elimination reaction, E1CB, exists. Kampuchea Airlines was an airline based in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, operating regional passenger services out of Phnom Penh International Airport. History Kampuchea Airlines was operating Boeing 737-200 jetliners and ATR 72 turboprops during the early 1990s. In 1994 it was jointly operating scheduled services with S.K. Air, another air carrier. According to the August 13, 1994 joint Kampuchea Airlines-S.K. Air timetable, nonstop flights were being operated between Phnom Penh (PNH) and both Bangkok (BKK) and Ho Chi Minh City (SGN) with Boeing 737 jets with this timetable also stating that flights would be operated with British Aerospace BAe 146 jets from August 13 to September 10, 1994. Kampuchea Airlines was shut down in 2004. Eurowings Europe is a low-cost airline registered in Malta. Eurowings Europe operates and maintains aircraft used on flights that are scheduled, marketed and sold by its sister airline, the Germany based Eurowings. The Taylor Cub was originally designed by C. Gilbert Taylor as a small, light and simple utility aircraft, evolved from the Taylor Chummy. It is the forefather of the popular Piper J-3 Cub, and total production of the Cub series was 23,512 aircraft. Design and development In 1930 with C. G. Taylor as Chief Engineer, the Taylor Aircraft Company embarked on the production of a two-seat tandem low-powered aircraft, designated the Taylor Cub. The Cub featured a design with wings mounted high on the fuselage, an open cockpit, fabric-covered tubular steel fuselage and wooden wings which used the USA-35B airfoil. The Northrop Grumman E-2 Hawkeye is an American all-weather, carrier-capable tactical airborne early warning (AEW) aircraft. This twin-turboprop aircraft was designed and developed during the late 1950s and early 1960s by the Grumman Aircraft Company for the United States Navy as a replacement for the earlier, piston-engined E-1 Tracer, which was rapidly becoming obsolete.
