E! is an Australian pay television channel, owned by NBCUniversal International Networks. Much like its E!, American counterpart it features entertainment-related programming, reality television and Hollywood news. It is currently available through the Foxtel and FetchTV (Australia), FetchTV platforms in Australia and the Sky (New Zealand), Sky platform in New Zealand. It was also available on the Austar service prior to 2012. In 2014, it became available on Australian streaming service Foxtel Play. NBCUIN signed a content agreement with Seven West Media in the autumn of 2022, which includes the launch of a new terrestrial channel, 7Bravo on 15 January 2023, that will include E! content; with this, the previous content agreement with Foxtel will expire, and E! will be wound down on 31 January 2023. Based on the American cable network of the same name, E! is devoted to entertainment programming including news, film, television, celebrities and fashion. Entertainment Television, was a Canadian English language privately owned television system that existed from 2001 to 2009 under the ownership of Canwest. At its peak it consisted of eight local television stations located in Quebec, Ontario, Alberta and British Columbia, including five stations owned and operated (O&O) by Canwest and three affiliates owned by Jim Pattison Group. The system was launched in 2001 as CH Television or CH (derived from the call sign of flagship CHCH-TV in Hamilton), providing a secondary schedule parallel to Canwest's larger Global Television Network. SBS FunE
SBS FunE (stylised SBS funE, formerly UTV, E! and SBS E!) is a South Korean cable and satellite television channel owned by SBS. Launched as UTV on August 16, 2005, it became E! on January 1, 2009 after an agreement between SBS and Comcast on September 5, 2008. Using the E! brand under license from Comcast, its programming consisted of mostly those from E! U.S., but also carried programs from the South Korean counterpart, as well as the libraries of SBS. Number of programs from E! have been dropped since then. The channel officially renamed to SBS E! on November 1, 2011, retaining only the red E! logo.
