''Días de cine'' is a weekly Spanish film review television programme which has been broadcast on La 2 of Televisión Española since 9 October 1991. The program was created by César Abeytua, inspired by the film by Woody Allen ''Radio Days''. He remained as the program's director until 29 October 1994, when he was replaced by Aitana Sánchez-Gijón, who then was replaced by Antonio Gasset after hosting '' Informe Semanal'',. ''Radio Days'' is a 1987 American comedy-drama film written and directed by Woody Allen, who also narrates the story. The film looks back on an American family's life during the Golden Age of Radio using both music and memories to tell the story. It stars an ensemble cast. Plot Joe, the narrator, relates how two burglars got involved in a radio game after picking up the phone during a home burglary. He goes on to explain that he associates old radio songs with childhood memories. During the late 1930s and early 1940s young Joe lived in a modest Jewish-American family in Rockaway Beach. His mother always listened to ''Breakfast with Irene and Roger''. His father kept his occupation secret. Joe later found out that he was ashamed of being a taxi driver. Heywood "Woody" Allen (born Allan Stewart Konigsberg; November 30, 1935) is an American film director, writer, actor, and comedian whose career spans more than six decades and multiple Academy Award-winning films. Antonio Gasset Dubois (19 May 1946 – 29 September 2021) was a Spanish journalist, television host and movie critic. Aitana Sánchez-Gijón de Angelis (born 5 November 1968) is a Spanish-Italian film actress.
