Dzmitry Baha
Dmitry Anatolyevich Baga ( be, Дзмітрый Анатольевіч Бага; russian: Дмитрий Анатольевич Бага; born 4 January 1990) is a Belarusian professional footballer who plays for Gomel. International career Baga was a member of the Belarus U21 that finished in 3rd place at the 2011 UEFA European Under-21 Football Championship. He played in all five of the matches and scored in a group stage loss against Denmark. He also represented the Belarus Olympic team that participated in the 2012 Toulon Tournament. He competed at the 2012 Olympics for Belarus. Baga earned his first cap for the senior national side of his country on 15 October 2013, in a friendly match against Japan. He is a younger brother of Aleksey Baga, professional football coach and former player. Barysaw ( be, Барысаў, ) or Borisov (russian: Борисов, ) is a city in Belarus near the Berezina River in the Minsk Region 74 km north-east from Minsk. Its population is around 145,000. The 2013 Belarusian Premier League was the 23rd season of top-tier football in Belarus. It began in April 2013 and ended in November 2013. BATE Borisov are the defending champions, having won their 9th league title the previous year. Format change Starting with this season, the league will be played in two phases. The first phase will consist of a regular double-round robin tournament between 12 teams. The best six teams will qualify for the championship round, which will determine the champions and the participants for the 2014–15 European competitions. Teams Dnepr Mogilev were relegated to the Belarusian First League after finishing the 2011 season in last place, leaving the league for the first time since the competition's establishment in 1992. The Belarusian Premier League or the Vyšejšaja Liha or the Vysheyshaya Liga ( be, Вышэйшая ліга, russian: Высшая лига, "Top League") is the top division of professional football in Belarus, and is organized by the Belarusian Football Federation. The number of teams in the competition has varied over the years from as high as 17 (1992–93 season) to as low as 11 (2012). As of 2016, the league included 16 teams. Each team plays every other team twice during the course of the season. At the end of the season, the two teams with the fewest points are automatically relegated to the Belarusian First League, while the third worst team plays a promotion-relegation playoff against the third best team from the second tier. Aleksey Baga
Aleksey Anatolyevich Baga ( be, Аляксей Анатольевіч Бага; russian: Алексей Анатольевич Бага; born 4 February 1981) is a Belarusian professional football manager and former player. Managerial career After retirement in early 2011, Baga returned to BATE Borisov to work as an assistant manager. In June 2018 he was appointed as BATE Borisov manager, staying on that position until December 2019. He won the Belarusian Premier League with BATE in 2018. In January 2020, Baga became the new manager of Lithuanian A Lyga club Žalgiris. On 21 January 2021, Baga was appointed as Head Coach of Aktobe, resigning from this position on 5 May 2021. On 30 December 2021, Baga was appointed as the new Head Coach of Sumgayit on a 2.5-year contract.
