Dylan Hopkins
Dylan Hopkins (born October 16, 1999) is an American football quarterback for the New Mexico Lobos. He previously played for the UAB Blazers. Early life and high school Hopkins grew up in Lewisburg, West Virginia along with Maryville, Tennessee and attended Maryville High School. During high school, he helped the team win a state title in 2017 and was the runner-up for Mr. Football in Tennessee. He was rated a three-star recruit and committed to play college football at UAB over offers from Appalachian State, Austin Peay, Charlotte, East Tennessee State, Eastern Kentucky, Furman, Georgia State, Mercer, Southern Miss, Temple, Tulane and Western Carolina. College career UAB Hopkins received a redshirt during his true freshman season in 2018. UAB Blazers
The UAB Blazers are the varsity intercollegiate athletic programs that represent the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). The school is one of the fourteen member institutions of Conference USA (C-USA) and participates in Division I of the NCAA. The school's men's basketball team plays in 8,508-seat Bartow Arena. KRQE
KRQE (channel 13) is a television station in Albuquerque, New Mexico, United States, affiliated with CBS and Fox. Owned by Nexstar Media Group, it is sister to Santa Fe–licensed ''de facto'' CW owned-and-operated station KWBQ (channel 19) and MyNetworkTV affiliate KASY-TV (channel 50) (both owned by Mission Broadcasting with certain services provided by Nexstar through a shared services agreement SA. The stations share studios on Broadcast Plaza in Albuquerque, while KRQE's transmitter is located on Sandia Crest, east of Albuquerque. History Channel 13 began operation in October 1953 as KGGM-TV, owned by the Hebenstreit family's New Mexico Broadcasting Company along with KGGM radio (610 AM, now KNML). The ''Albuquerque Journal'' is the largest newspaper in the U.S. state of New Mexico. History The ''Golden Gate'' newspaper was founded in June 1880. In the fall of 1880, the owner of the ''Golden Gate'' died and Journal Publishing Company was created. Journal Publishing changed the paper name to ''Albuquerque Daily Journal'' and issued its first edition of the ''Albuquerque Daily Journal'' on October 14, 1880. New Mexico Lobos
The New Mexico Lobos are the athletic teams that represent the University of New Mexico, located in Albuquerque. The university participates in the NCAA Division I in the Mountain West Conference (MW) since 1999, after leaving the Western Athletic Conference. The university's athletic program fields teams in 16 varsity sports. UNM teams have won three national championships. The women's cross-country won the NCAA championship in 2015 and 2017 and the Division I Skiing championship in 2004. History The Lobos name began in 1920. Maryville High School (MHS) is currently a three-year public high school with grades 10–12. It was founded in 1918 in Maryville, Tennessee and is a part of the Maryville City Schools system. In the 2009–2010 year, there were approximately 1,558 students enrolled, and the senior class consisted of 352 students. With 107 faculty members, the staff-to-student ratio was approximately 1:15.
