Dylan Duo
Dylan Duo (born 24 November 1977) is a Gibraltarian professional darts player who has played in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events. Career Duo qualified for the 2010 PDC World Darts Championship via the European Order of Merit. He became the first darts player from Gibraltar to qualify for either version of the World Darts Championship. In the first round, he was whitewashed 3–0 by Vincent van der Voort. He currently plays for and Captains the College 501 team in the Gibraltar Darts Association league. In the 2009/10 season he achieved a first by winning all four major domestic ranking tournaments, as well as numerous other tournaments. He served several years as Treasurer of the Gibraltar Darts Association. Duo represented Gibraltar with Dyson Parody in the 2012 PDC World Cup of Darts and together they were beaten 5–4 by Denmark in the first round, with Duo missing two darts for the match. 2013 PDC European Tour Event 5
The 2013 Gibraltar Darts Trophy was the fifth of eight PDC European Tour events on the 2013 PDC Pro Tour. The tournament took place at the Victoria Stadium, Gibraltar, from 28–30 June 2013. It featured a field of 64 players and £100,000 in prize money, with £20,000 going to the winner. It was won by Phil Taylor, with Jamie Lewis as the runner-up. Also notable was the nine-dart finish hit by Ross Smith in his second round defeat by Adrian Lewis, which was the last nine darter to be hit in the PDC European Tour until June 2018. Course of the event Phil Taylor won his second European Tour title with a 6–1 victory over Jamie Lewis in the final. The 2017 Betway World Cup of Darts was the seventh edition of the PDC World Cup of Darts. It took place between 1–4 June 2017 at the Eissporthalle in Frankfurt, Germany. The England pairing of Phil Taylor and Adrian Lewis were the reigning champions, after beating the Netherlands' Michael van Gerwen and Raymond van Barneveld 3–2 in the 2016 final. Julio Barbero Gonzalez (born 2 September 1970) is a Spanish professional darts player who currently plays in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events. Career In 2008, Barbero won the Spanish Federation Cup by beating Antonio Alcinas. His first PDC premier event was the 2009 German Darts Championship where he lost 6–2 to Mervyn King in the third round. Barbero came within a game of reaching the 2010 PDC World Championship, but was defeated 6–2 by Francisco Ruiz in the final of the Spanish Qualifier. The 2014 Ladbrokes World Darts Championship was the 21st World Championship organised by the Professional Darts Corporation since it separated from the British Darts Organisation. The event took place at the Alexandra Palace, London between 13 December 2013 and 1 January 2014. Phil Taylor was the defending champion, having won his 16th title in 2013, but he lost 4–3 to Michael Smith in the second round.
