Dylan Cartlidge
Dylan Cartlidge is a rapper and multi-instrumentalist. His music incorporates elements of funk, soul, hip hop, gospel rock, and R&B. He is known for his hopeful narratives. He was featured in the first episode of BBC documentary '' The Mighty Redcar'', where he was seeking a record deal. He signed to Glassnote Records in 2018. Cartlidge was named to NPR ''World Cafe'''s '30 Under 30', following his on air appearance in 2021. Superorganism are an indie pop band based in London, formed in early 2017. The group originally consisted of eight members: lead vocalist Orono Noguchi, as well as Emily, Harry, Tucan, Robert Strange, Ruby, B, and Soul. Many of the group's members originally met online before forming the group, while four of their members previously performed together as the Eversons. Their self-titled debut album, ''Superorganism'', was released on 2 March 2018 through Domino Recording Company and Hostess Entertainment. ''World Wide Pop'' is the second album by London-based indie pop band Superorganism, released on 15 July 2022 by Domino Recording Company. The album features guest appearances from musicians Chai, Pi Ja Ma, Stephen Malkmus, Dylan Cartlidge, Boa Constrictors, and Gen Hoshino. The album is the group's first since the exit of members Ruby, Robert Strange, and Emily (real name Mark Turner), the latter of whom was caught in controversy in 2019 after filing restraining orders against two women who spoke out against him. Brian Joseph Burton (born July 29, 1977), known professionally as Danger Mouse, is an American musician, songwriter, and record producer. BBC Radio 1's Big Weekend
BBC Radio 1's Big Weekend (R1BW) (previously known as One Big Weekend, for 2012 as Radio 1's Hackney Weekend, and for 2018 as BBC Music's Biggest Weekend) is a British music festival run by the BBC's radio station. It is held once a year, in a different location within the United Kingdom each time. It was the biggest free-ticketed music event in Europe, until a fee for tickets was introduced in 2018, and always includes a host of new artists. Background and history The festival is a spin-off of Radio 1's "One Big Sunday", where in each Sunday during the summer months a different town would host the roadshow, usually next to a beach or in a large park. These were also free, but non-ticketed and held from 2000 to 2002.
