Bayside is an American punk rock band from the Bayside, Queens neighborhood of New York City, formed in 2000 by lead vocalist Anthony Raneri. The group also consists of lead guitarist Jack O'Shea, bassist Nick Ghanbarian, and drummer Chris Guglielmo. Since their formation, the group has released eight full-length albums, with their debut, '' Sirens and Condolences'', in 2004, and the release of 2005's follow-up, '' Bayside'', launching the band into mainstream success. ''Cult'' is the sixth studio album by American rock band Bayside. Background In September 2012, vocalist/guitarist Anthony Raneri said the group was "locking in a new label" and were aiming to being writing their next album in January 2013. The following month, the group released a covers EP as a stop-gap release to tide their fans over until their next album. Between April and June, the group supported Alkaline Trio on their headlining tour of the US. ''Cult'' was recorded at The Carriage House in Stamford, Connecticut, Applehead Recording in Woodstock, New York, and Raw Recording in Patterson, New York, with producers Shep Goodman and Aaron Accetta. Goodman and Dan Korneff served as engineers; Chris Sheldon mixed the album, before it was mastered by John Naclerio at Nada Recording Studios. The Rocking Horse Winner (band)
The Rocking Horse Winner was an American indie rock band based in Davie, Florida. The band was formed in mid-1999 by guitarist, keyboardist and backing vocalist Henry Olmino, bass guitarist Jeronimo Gomez, drummer, keyboardist and percussionist Matthew Crum and vocalist Jolie Lindholm. At various times, the band also included guitarist Oliver Chapoy, drummer Steve Kleisath and vocalist Kristen Lindholm. The band broke up in March 2003, though it was not announced publicly until May 2003. Prior to forming The Rocking Horse Winner, Gomez, Olmino and Crum had together played in the melodic hardcore band As Friends Rust. Unsung Zeros was a rock band that formed in 1998 in Orlando, Florida United States. They also stayed briefly in Eau Claire, Wisconsin where they released a single called "Louder than words". Biography Formed in 1998, Unsung Zeros had a loyal following thanks to extensive touring, even attracting many fans outside their home state. Shelter (band)
Shelter is a Hare Krishna hardcore punk band, formed by Youth of Today vocalist Ray Cappo in 1991. Because of the religious Hindu-oriented messages in its lyrics, Shelter's subgenre has been dubbed by some as krishnacore. Recent history In 2001, the band released the album ''The Purpose, The Passion''. In 2002, with a new drummer and a new guitarist, the band toured Europe and the eastern United States again in support of ''The Purpose, The Passion'', before going on extended hiatus. In 2005, vocalist Ray Cappo recorded a new 11-track album entitled ''Eternal'' with 10 new songs and a remake of the song "In Defense of Reality". Hot Rod Circuit (HRC) is an American emo band from Auburn, Alabama, established in 1997. History Early years The band was originally known as ''Antidote'' under which they released the album ''Mr. Glenboski'', which won the group the award of ''Best Unsigned Band of 1998'' by Musician Magazine. The band subsequently moved to Connecticut and released ''If I Knew Now What I Knew Then'' under their present moniker. Hot Rod Circuit's first record, "If I Knew Now What I Knew Then" was released on September 21, 1999. Brand New was an American rock band from Long Island, New York. Formed in 2000, the band consisted of Jesse Lacey (vocals, guitar), Vincent Accardi (guitar, vocals), Garrett Tierney (bass guitar, vocals) and Brian Lane (drums, percussion); they were joined by Benjamin Homola (percussion) for their live performances. From 2005 to 2013, the band also included Derrick Sherman (guitar, backing vocals, keyboards). Bayside (formerly Bay Side) is a station on the Long Island Rail Road's Port Washington Branch in the Bayside neighborhood of Queens, New York City. The station is located at 213th Street and 41st Avenue, off Bell Boulevard and just north of Northern Boulevard, and is 12.6 miles (20.3 km) from Penn Station in Midtown Manhattan. New Found Glory (formerly A New Found Glory) is an American rock band from Coral Springs, Florida, formed in 1997.
