Dying Forever
''Eternity'' ( th, ชั่วฟ้าดินสลาย) is a 2010 Thai erotic romantic drama film by Pantewanop Tewakol. It is based on Malai Choopiniji's novel, which was earlier adapted to film in 1957 by Rattana Pestonji. The film stars Ananda Everingham and Laila Boonyasak as the doomed lovers Sangmong, and his uncle's wife, Yupadee, respectively. The film won five awards, including Best Actor and Best Picture, and gained seven nominations in the Thailand Film Awards. Plot The story begins with a young man visiting a village in Burma. One night, a beautiful woman comes into his bedroom and attempts to seduce him. She suddenly leaves, frightened by the sounds of screams coming from outside. Ananda Everingham
Ananda Everingham ( th, อนันดา เอเวอริงแฮม; born 31 May 1982) is a Thai actor and model. Working primarily in Thai films, he is best known for his lead role in the 2004 horror film, '' Shutter''. Biography Ananda Matthew Everingham is the son of a Laotian-born mother, Keo Sirisomphone and Australian father, Bangkok-based photojournalist John Everingham. He is of Lao and Australian descent. His parents' story was loosely dramatised in the 1983 NBC television movie '' Love Is Forever'', starring Michael Landon and Laura Gemser, which tells of a photojournalist who scuba dives under the Mekong River to rescue his lover from communist-ruled Laos in 1977. Rattana Pestonji ( th, รัตน์ เปสตันยี; ) was a Thai film director, producer, screenwriter and cinematographer and is regarded as the father of contemporary Thai film. Although his filmography was brief, his films placed Thai cinema on the world stage. He also pushed for innovations, and was one of the first Thai directors to use 35-mm film.
