Dušan Petronijević
Dušan Petronijević (Serbian Cyrillic: Душан Петронијевић; born 9 November 1983) is a Serbian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder. Club career Born in Kruševac, Petronijević started out at his hometown club Napredak. He made his senior debuts with Obilić in the 2002–03 season. Later on, Petronijević spent two seasons at BASK, before making a return to his parent club Napredak in the summer of 2007. He later moved to Iran and joined Damash Iranian. In December 2011, Petronijević moved from Shakhter Karagandy to fellow Kazakhstan Premier League club Astana. International career Petronijević made his only appearance for Serbia on 3 June 2011, coming on as a substitute for Dejan Stanković in a 1–2 friendly loss to South Korea. Serbia National Football Team
The Serbia national football team ( sr, Фудбалска репрезентација Србије, Fudbalska reprezentacija Srbije) represents Serbia in men's international football competition. It is controlled by the Football Association of Serbia, the governing body for football in Serbia. After the breakup of SFR Yugoslavia and its football team in 1992 Serbia was represented (alongside Montenegro) within the new FR Yugoslavia national football team. Despite qualifying for Euro 92 the team was banned from participating in the tournament due to international sanctions, with the ruling also enforced for World Cup 94 and Euro 96 qualifiers. 2011 Kazakhstan Premier League
The 2011 Kazakhstan Premier League was the 20th season of the Kazakhstan Premier League, the highest football league competition in Kazakhstan. The season began on 6 March 2011 and ended on 29 October 2011. Tobol were the defending champions having won their first league championship last year. As in the 2010 season, the competition was completed in two stages, with all twelve clubs playing twice against each other before splitting up into two groups of six teams each, according to their position after 22 matches. The 2003–04 First League of Serbia and Montenegro was the second and first full season of the Serbia and Montenegro's top-level football league since its establishment. Dejan Stanković ( sr-Cyrl, Дејан Станковић, , born 11 September 1978) is a Serbian professional manager and former player. He currently manages Italian club Sampdoria. He captained the Serbia national team from 2007 until 2011, when he announced his retirement from international football. A midfielder is an outfield position in association football. Midfielders may play an exclusively defensive role, breaking up attacks, and are in that case known as defensive midfielders.
