Duti Krushna Panda (July 1, 1923 – May 5, 2019) was an Indian politician and leader of Communist Party of India. He was a former member of Lok Sabha from Bhanjanagar (Presently Aska) Lok Sabha constituency in 1971. He was also elected as Member of Legislative Assembly in 1990 from Aska Constituency. He was the secretary of CPI Odisha state council and president of AITUC The All India Trade Union Congress (AITUC) is the oldest trade union federation in India. Communist Party of India (CPI) is the oldest Marxist–Leninist communist party in India and one of the nine national parties in the country. The CPI was founded in modern-day Kanpur (formerly known as Cawnpore) on 26 December 1925. Bhanjanagar is a town and a semi-urban region. It is a Notified Area Council in the Ganjam District in the state of Odisha, India. The town, earlier named as Russellkonda (Russell's Hill) after George Russell, President of then board of Revenue, was renamed later after Kavi Samrat (Poet King) Upendra Bhanja. The All India Trade Union Congress (AITUC) is the oldest trade union federation in India. It is associated with the Communist Party of India. According to provisional statistics from the Ministry of Labour, AITUC had a membership of 14.2 million in 2013. It was founded on 31 October 1920 with Lala Lajpat Rai as its first president. In Bombay by Lala Lajpat Rai, Joseph Baptista, N. M. Joshi, Diwan Chaman Lall and a few others and, until 1945 when unions became organised on party lines, it was the primary trade union organisation in India. Since then, it has been associated with the Communist Party of India.
