Dutch GT Championship
The HDI-Gerling Dutch GT Championship was an auto racing championship based in the Netherlands. The series, founded in 2009 by the SRO Group as the Dutch GT4 Championship, uses grand tourer cars conforming to the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile GT4 regulations. Based on the GT4 European Cup, the Dutch GT Championship concentrates on the Benelux region, with several races per season held at the Circuit Park Zandvoort in the Netherlands, while also visiting circuits such as the TT Circuit Assen as well as the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps and Circuit Zolder in Belgium. In recent years races have also been added in Germany and Slovakia. Dominant cars in the series include the BMW M3, Porsche 911, Chevrolet Corvette, Chevrolet Camaro, Toyota GT-86, Lotus Evora, Ginetta G50, and Aston Martin V8 Vantage. GT4 European Series
The GT4 European Series is a sports car championship created and organised by SRO Motorsports Group. It is a pro/am championship which followed a formula similar to the FIA GT3 European Championship, which was itself derived from the FIA GT Championship which utilized the GT1 and GT2 classes. The GT4 class cars are the least powerful of the four classes, yet are equalised in order to allow driving skill to become key. Ricardo Van Der Ende
Ricardo van der Ende (born 13 July 1979 in Poeldijk) is a Dutch racing driver. He won the 2001 Formula Chrysler Euroseries season with the Belgian team of Vortex Motorsport. He also won the Winter Series of the British Formula Ford Championship in 1998 and the Formula Ford Festival in 1999. Later on he went karting and became Dutch champion of the Dutch Rotax Max Challenge in 2003. In 2004 he became European and French karting champion of ICC 125cc. He switched to single-seat race cars in 2004. In 2005 he began touring car racing, and drove the Dutch BMW 130i Cup in 2006. He placed second that year. In 2007 van der Ende was crowned champion.
