Dutch East Indies City Champions
Dutch East Indies city Championship was a national amateur football competition in Indonesia held between 1914 and 1930 before the formation of Perserikatan, organized by the PSSI, the Indonesian football federation. The tournament originally featured only the four main cities (Batavia (Jakarta), Soerabaja, Semarang, Bandoeng) but by 1930 included many cities from across the island. Competition in the initiated and organized by the Nederlandsch Indische Voetbal Bond (NIVB) or its successor, the Nederlandsch Indische Voetbal Unie (NIVU) before the Football Association of Indonesia (PSSI) is formed. Sawah Besar is a district (''kecamatan'') of Central Jakarta, Indonesia. Its neighborhoods are among the most historic, containing the 1820-established Pasar Baru ("New Market"), the new colonial city – Weltevreden – and the old course of the Ciliwung river. The Sultanate of Langkat () was a Malay Muslim state located in modern Langkat Regency, North Sumatra. It predates Islam in the region, but no historical records before the 17th century survive. It prospered with the opening of rubber plantations and the discovery of oil in Pangkalan Brandan. Early history In approximately 1568, a military commander from the Kingdom of Aru set up a kingdom which was the forerunner of the modern Langkat Sultanate.
