Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic
The Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic is an annual professional wrestling tag team tournament held by the American promotion WWE, and is featured on its NXT brand, having first been established in 2015. In subsequent years, wrestlers from the NXT UK and 205 Live brands—both of which are subsidiary/sister brands under the NXT banner—have also been included. While originally just for men, a women's version of the tournament was introduced in 2021 and runs concurrently with the men's tournament. The tournament was established following the death of WWE Hall of Fame wrestler Dusty Rhodes, who was the creator of and featured star in the Crockett Cup tournaments in the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) during the mid-late 1980s, which the Dusty Classic is modeled after and has been compared to. Tag team wrestling is a type of professional wrestling in which matches are contested between teams of multiple wrestlers. The Authors Of Pain
Legion of Pain are a professional wrestling tag team consisting of Sunny Dhinsa and Gzim Selmani. They are best known for their time in WWE as the Authors of Pain, under the ring names Akam and Rezar, where they are former one-time Raw Tag Team Champions and one-time NXT Tag Team Champions. Akam and Rezar first teamed up in June 2016, paired with manager Paul Ellering in WWE's then developmental league NXT. NXT Tag Team Championship
The NXT Tag Team Championship is a men's professional wrestling tag team championship created and promoted by the American promotion WWE. It is defended on the NXT brand division, the promotion's developmental territory. Introduced on January 23, 2013, the inaugural championship team was British Ambition (Adrian Neville and Oliver Grey). The current champions are The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods), who are in their first reign. The title was established as the men's tag team championship for NXT, which at the time was a developmental territory for WWE. The Undisputed Era
The Undisputed Era was a professional wrestling stable from WWE's NXT brand. It formed on August 19, 2017 at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn III shortly after Adam Cole, Bobby Fish, and Kyle O'Reilly signed with WWE, although Fish and O'Reilly had already been a tag team since 2012 under the name reDRagon.
