Dustin Jacoby
Dustin Jacoby (born April 4, 1988) is an American mixed martial artist and kickboxer who currently competes in the Ultimate Fighting Championship. In kickboxing, he has competed for GLORY, and in MMA, he has competed also for Bellator, World Series of Fighting, and Titan FC. He has fought as both a Light Heavyweight and a Middleweight. On November 1, 2018, he was ranked as the #8 middleweight kickboxer in the world by Combat Press. Background Jacoby was born in Fort Morgan, Colorado and grew up in Colorado. Dustin has a twin brother Darren, who is a former professional mixed martial artist. The brothers begun training taekwondo at the age of four, both picking up wrestling a year later. Fort Morgan is the home rule municipality city that is the county seat and the most populous municipality of Morgan County, Colorado, United States. The city population was 11,597 at the 2020 United States Census. Fort Morgan is the principal city of the Fort Morgan, CO Micropolitan Statistical Area. History Fort Morgan Camp Wardwell was established in 1865 along the Overland Trail to protect emigrants and supplies going to and from Denver and the mining districts. Makoto Uehara ( ja, 上原 誠; born November 14, 1984) is a Japanese Shidokan Karateka and heavyweight kickboxer competing in K-1. He is the former RISE Heavyweight and Light Heavyweight champion. Biography and career He faced Hiromi Amada at the ''K-1 World Grand Prix 2012 in Tokyo Final 16'' on October 14, 2012 and won via unanimous decision. Despite qualifying for the ''K-1 World Grand Prix 2012 Final'', Uehara was left out in the cold when the event rolled around and was replaced by the higher-ranked Pavel Zhuravlev. Danyo "Dibuba" Ilunga (born January 31, 1987) is a Congolese-German Muay Thai kickboxer currently competing in GLORY. Ilunga is a four-time kickboxing and Muay Thai world champion - most notably being the former It's Showtime 95MAX World Champion. As of November 2021, Combat Press ranks him as the #9 light heavyweight kickboxer in the world. Background Ilunga was born in the Democratic Republic of Congo as one of seven children. The son of a prominent politician and the grandson of a local chief, the family had to flee due to the recurring conflict in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, resettling in Germany.
