Dustin Fletcher
Dustin Fletcher (born 7 May 1975) is a former professional Australian rules footballer who played his entire 23-season career for the Essendon Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). He is widely acknowledged as one of the finest defenders in the history of the league. AFL career Fletcher was recruited by the Essendon Football Club in the 1992 National Draft. He played his first senior game against Carlton in his senior year of high school at Penleigh and Essendon Grammar School. He was a key member of the 1993 premiership team in his first AFL season, a team which is often referred to as the " Baby Bombers". Western Jets
The Western Jets is an Australian rules football club which plays in the Victorian premier U19 competition, the NAB League, since its inception in 1992. The club have developmental squads in the U16, however much of the attention is towards its U18 team. The club is geographically set in Melbourne's West as part of a decision by AFL Victoria (formerly Football Victoria) to have clubs in all regions of the state. Ken Fletcher (Australian Footballer)
Ken Fletcher (born 21 January 1948) is a former Australian rules footballer who played for the Essendon Bombers. He is the father of Dustin Fletcher who was drafted into the club through the father son rule. A former Essendon High School student who grew up in East Keilor, Victoria, Fletcher had two footballers as neighbours, they being Ken Peucker (No 29 Essendon) and Ted Flemming (footballer), Ted Flemming, a WA Sandover Medal winner (1930). Ken and his older brother practiced football skills daily in a nearby paddock as teenagers. Simon Madden
Simon Madden (born 30 December 1957) is a former Australian rules footballer who played his entire 19-season career with the Essendon Football Club from 1974 until 1992. Madden is one of the most decorated players in the club's history and widely regarded as one of the finest ruckmen to ever play the game.
