Dusit Central Park
Dusit Central Park is a mixed-use skyscraper development currently under construction in the Bang Rak district of Bangkok, Thailand. It occupies a site on the corner of Sala Daeng Intersection at the beginning of Si Lom Road in Bangkok's financial district, replacing the old Dusit Thani Hotel which stood there from 1970 to 2019. Conceived as a joint-venture between hotel-owner Dusit International and property developer Central Pattana, its location overlooking the vast expanse of Lumphini Park makes it a prime real estate property, with a project value of 46 billion baht (US$1.5bn in 2019). The project is scheduled for completion in 2025, and comprises three skyscrapers: a new hotel, a residential tower and an office tower, connected by an eight-storey retail podium featuring a rooftop park. Sala Daeng Intersection
Sala Daeng ( th, ศาลาแดง, ) is the name of the intersection and neighbourhood at the beginning of Si Lom Road in Bangkok, Thailand. It is located within Pathum Wan District, next to its border with Bang Rak, where Si Lom meets Rama IV and Ratchadamri Roads. The Thai–Japan Flyover Bridge, constructed in 1992, passes over Sala Daeng intersection, as well as the westward Henri Dunant and Sam Yan intersections, along Rama IV Road. A small street, known as Sala Daeng Road, branches off Si Lom Road (near the intersection) and connects to the parallel Sathon Road. Si Lom Road (also written as Silom, th, สีลม, ) is a major street in the Thai capital Bangkok, best known for its commercial neighbourhood, which, along with the nearby and roughly parallel Sathon Road, forms one of the city's main business districts. Dusit Thani Hotel
The Dusit Thani Bangkok, often referred to simply as the Dusit Thani Hotel ( th, โรงแรมดุสิตธานี), was a luxury hotel in the Thai capital's Bang Rak District. The original hotel was the country's tallest building when it opened in 1970 as the first property of Dusit International. Work on demolishing the building started in 2019 and ended in 2020. Lumphini Park ( th, สวนลุมพินี, , ), also Lumpini or Lumpinee, is a 360 rai () park in Bangkok, Thailand. The park offers rare open public space, trees, and playgrounds in the Thai capital and contains an artificial lake where visitors can rent boats.
