Durham Radio, Inc. is an Oshawa, Ontario-based radio broadcaster. The company owns six radio stations and their associated repeaters, which are primarily located in the Golden Horseshoe region of Southern Ontario. In 2021, Durham Radio received CRTC approval to acquire Vancouver's CIRH-FM, marking its first station outside of Ontario. CHTG-FM is a Canadian radio station licensed to Haldimand, Ontario serving the Hamilton region broadcasting at 92.9 FM with a classic hits format branded as ''92.9 The Grand''. History Application for 92.9 The station was first licensed in 2005 with the call sign CKNS-FM. CHKX-FM is a Canadian radio station, broadcasting at 94.7 FM from Hamilton, Ontario and licensed to Hamilton/Burlington. The station airs a country format branded as ''KX 94.7''. CKDO (1580 kHz) is a commercial AM radio station in Oshawa, Ontario, Canada, serving the eastern suburbs of the Greater Toronto Area. The station airs a classic hits/oldies format and is owned by Durham Radio Inc. CKDO is one of only two radio stations in Canada that broadcast on 1580 kHz.
