Durell Nchami
Durell Nchami (born February 11, 2000) is an American football linebacker for the Denver Broncos of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Maryland. Early life and high school Coming out of Paint Branch High School, Nchami was rated as a three-star recruit, where he decided to commit to play college football for the Maryland Terrapins. College career In his freshman season, Nchami made 15 tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss, one sack, and one blocked kick in ten games. However, Nchami suffered season-ending injuries in 2019 and 2021. Nchami bounced back and had his best career season in 2022; he started 11 games and totaled 20 tackles, six tackles for loss, three sacks, and one forced fumble. After the conclusion of the 2022 season, Nchami declared for the 2023 NFL draft. Linebacker
Linebacker (LB) is a playing position in gridiron football. Linebackers are members of the defensive team, and line up three to five yards behind the line of scrimmage and the defensive linemen. They are the "middle ground" of defenders, playing closer to the line of scrimmage than the defensive backs (secondary), but farther back than the defensive linemen. In sports, the practice squad, also called the taxi squad or practice roster, is a group of players signed by a team but not part of their main roster. Frequently used in gridiron football, they serve as extra players during the team's practices, often as part of the scout team by emulating an upcoming opponent's play style. Because the players on the practice squad are familiar with the team's plays and formations, the practice squad serves as a way to develop inexperienced players for promotion to the main roster. Silver Spring is a census-designated place (CDP) in southeastern Montgomery County, Maryland, United States, near Washington, D.C. Although officially unincorporated, in practice it is an edge city, with a population of 81,015 at the 2020 census, making it the fifth-most populous place in Maryland after Baltimore, Columbia, Germantown, and Waldorf.
