Dunn's road guarder (''Crisantophis nevermanni)'' is a species of snake in the family Colubridae. The species, which is monotypic in the genus ''Crisantophis'', is endemic to Central America. Geographic range ''C. nevermanni'' is found in northwestern Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, western Honduras, and Nicaragua. Habitat The preferred natural habitat of ''C. nevermanni'' is forest, at altitudes of . Behavior ''C. nevermanni'' is terrestrial and diurnal. Diet ''C. nevermanni'' preys predominately upon frogs and lizards. Reproduction ''C. nevermanni'' is oviparous.
