Dukla Jihlava
HC Dukla Jihlava, founded in 1956, is an ice hockey team in the Czech Republic. It won the Czechoslovak Extraliga title 12 times: six consecutive championships beginning in 1967, then in 1974, four consecutive championships beginning in 1982, and again in 1991. As of 2019, HC Dukla Jihlava plays in the Czech 1. liga after being relegated from the Czech Extraliga in 2017–18. Jihlava
Jihlava (; german: Iglau) is a city in the Czech Republic. It has about 50,000 inhabitants. Jihlava is the capital of the Vysočina Region, situated on the Jihlava River on the historical border between Moravia and Bohemia. Historically, Jihlava is the oldest mining town in the Czech Republic, older than Kutná Hora. Milan Chalupa
Milan Chalupa (born 4 July 1953) is a Czech former professional ice hockey defenceman. He played 14 games for the Detroit Red Wings in the National Hockey League. Career Chalupa began his career with HC Dukla Jihlava. He was drafted 49th overall by the Detroit Red Wings in the 1984 NHL Entry Draft and played 14 games during the 1984-85 NHL season, contributing five assists. He moved to Germany in 1985 with EHC Freiburg. Jiří Crha
Jiří Crha (born April 13, 1950) is a Czech former ice hockey goaltender. He who played 69 games in the National Hockey League for the Toronto Maple Leafs between 1980 and 1981. The rest of his career, which lasted from 1969 to 1993, was spent first in the Czechoslovak First Ice Hockey League and then the German Eishockey-Bundesliga. Internationally Crha played for the Czechoslovakian national team in several tournaments, including the 1976 Winter Olympics, where he won a silver medal. Dominik Hašek
Dominik Hašek (, ; born January 29, 1965) is a Czech former ice hockey goaltender who mostly played for the Buffalo Sabres of the National Hockey League (NHL). Widely regarded as one of the best goaltenders of all time, Hašek also played for the Chicago Blackhawks, Detroit Red Wings and the Ottawa Senators in his 16-season National Hockey League (NHL) career, before finishing his career in Europe. During his years in Buffalo, he became one of the league's finest goaltenders, earning him the nickname "The Dominator". Igor Liba
Igor Liba (born November 4, 1960, in Prešov, Czechoslovakia) is a Slovak former professional ice hockey player, who played on the 1992 Bronze Medal-winning Olympic Hockey team for Czechoslovakia, and lives in Košice, Slovakia. Igor Liba was inducted into the Slovak Hockey Hall of Fame in 2005. Career Igor Liba played for ZPA Prešov (1970–1978), HC Košice (1978–1982, 1984–1988, 1991–1992, 1997–1998 and 1998–1999) and HC Dukla Jihlava (1982–1984) in Czechoslovakia, after 1993 in Slovakia mostly for HK VTJ Spišská Nová Ves.
