Duk (fortification)
Mount of Temptation, in Palestinian Arabic ( ar, جبل لقرنطل), is a mountain over the town of Jericho in the Judean Desert, in the West Bank. Ancient Christian tradition identifies it as the location of the temptation of Christ, temptation of Jesus described in the New Testament Gospel, Gospels of Gospel of Matthew, Matthew, Gospel of Mark, Mark, and Gospel of Luke, Luke, in which it is said that, from "a high place", the Devil offered Jesus rule over all the kingdoms of the world. Randall Duk Kim (born September 24, 1943) is an American stage, film, and television actor. Life Kim was born and raised in Hawaii. He is married to actress and fellow American Players Theatre co-founder, Anne Occhiogrosso. Career Theater Kim began doing theater when he was 18 years old. He has portrayed a wide variety of roles on the stage, focusing upon Western classical works, including Shakespeare, Chekhov, Ibsen and Molière. He has spent most of his career in theater. Kim starred in the first play written by an Asian American to be produced professionally in New York, ''The Chickencoop Chinaman'' by Frank Chin, which was mounted by The American Place Theatre in 1972. Kim co-founded the American Players Theatre in Spring Green, Wisconsin with Anne Occhiogrosso and Charles Bright in 1977. He was the theater's artistic director. or Kim Duk ( ko, 김 덕/金 徳) (born February 7, 1948) is a retired Zainichi-Korean professional wrestler, better known under his ring name . He was also known by the name Tiger Chung Lee in the World Wrestling Federation. Early life Masanori Toguchi was a basketball player and jūdōka during his high school days. After graduation, he joined the Japan Pro Wrestling Alliance dojo with the recommendation from Kintaro Ohki. Since Seiji Sakaguchi, another jūdōka, joined the JWA during the same time, it caused a conflict between the jūdō and puroresu industries. Toguchi was sent to South Korea for half a year with "special training" as an excuse until the issue died out. Tiny and Mr Duk are two puppet characters created for UK children's TV show, ''The Saturday Show (BBC TV series), The Saturday Show'' by Dave Chapman (actor), Dave Chapman and Damian Farrell. Story Tiny is a giant hamster, created in an accident in a laboratory. Mr Duk is a duck who acts as Tiny's agent, although this setup was referred to less and less as the characters evolved.
