Duh U Močvari
''The Ghost in the Swamp'' ( hr, Duh u močvari) is a 2006 film directed by Branko Ištvančić, based on the book ''Duh u močvari'' by Anto Gardaš. The film premiered at the 2006 Međunarodni Dječji Festival in Šibenik. Plot After Liptus arrives in a small village from the city, he calls his best friends, Miron and Melita, on winter holidays in Kopačevo. That same night, while they are all sleeping cozily, from their deep sleep Miron and Melita are woken by the disturbing sounds of villagers, carrying flares and disappearing into the darkness at the end of the street. At the docks, they find Halasz, a boy known for his bravery. He is cold, pale from shock, and babbling a white ghost. While most of the villagers don't believe Halasz's story, older citizens recall a long time ago when a forgotten spirit would scare people at night in dark and foggy swamps. Branko Ištvančić
Branko Ištvančić (born April 5, 1967) is a Croatian film director. Born in Subotica, Ištvančić graduated from the Academy of Dramatic Art, University of Zagreb in 1999. Since 2003 he has been employed at the Croatian Radiotelevision, working as a director of documentary films, educational programs, and television series and films. Ištvančić's award-winning documentary '' The Cormorant Scarecrow'' (1998) has been described by Croatian film critics as one of the best Croatian documentary films of the 1990s. Ivo Gregurević (; 7 October 1952 – 1 January 2019) was a Croatian film, theatre and television actor. Throughout over a quarter of a century, Gregurević played rural bullies and arrogant nouveau riche and became one of Croatia's best known and most lauded character actors. Dalibor Grubačević (; born January 9, 1975) is a Croatian composer, musician and record producer renowned for his works in the field of film music. Biography Dalibor Grubačević was born in Koprivnica (modern-day Croatia), where he grew up and completed his early education. Kopačevo ( hu, Kopács) is a settlement in the region of Baranja, Croatia. Administratively, it is located in the Bilje municipality within the Osijek-Baranja County. Population is 608 people. Vlatko Dulić (20 April 1943 – 20 November 2015) was a Croatian theatre, television and film actor and theatre director.
