Dug Days
''Dug Days'' (also known as ''Up: Dug Days'') is an American computer-animated streaming television series of shorts produced by Pixar Animation Studios for the Disney+ streaming service. The series is set immediately after the 2009 3D CGI film '' Up'', following its main characters, dog Dug, voiced by Bob Peterson and his owner, 78-year-old Carl Fredricksen, voiced by Ed Asner in one of his last performances. It was created, written and directed by Peterson, and produced by Peterson and Kim Collins. The series was announced in December 2020, during Disney's Investor Day, with Peterson pitched the series centering on Dug following his work on ''Forky Asks a Question''. The animators created new animation rigging, textures, and hair for the characters in order to update their original designs due to advances in CG animation ever since the original film's release. Slice of life is a depiction of mundane experiences in art and entertainment. Jordan Nagai (born February 5, 2000) is an American student and former child voice actor. He is best known for his voice role as Russell in '' Up''. Career Jordan's older brother Hunter originally auditioned for Russell in '' Up''. Director Pete Docter has said, "As soon as Jordan's voice came on we started smiling because he is appealing and innocent and cute and different from what I was initially thinking." About four hundred children had shown up for the auditions, but Nagai stood out because he wouldn't stop talking the whole time. Nevertheless, he was sometimes very shy, and Docter found it difficult getting him to recite all of his lines. Nagai's character in ''Up'' is the first Asian American figure in a movie by Pixar. Snail
A snail is, in loose terms, a shelled gastropod. The name is most often applied to land snails, terrestrial pulmonate gastropod molluscs. The bluebirds are a North American group of medium-sized, mostly insectivorous or omnivorous birds in the order of Passerines in the genus ''Sialia'' of the thrush family (Turdidae). Jeff Pidgeon is an American animator, screenwriter, storyboard artist, and voice actor at Pixar. Early life Influenced by Charles M. Schulz's comic strip ''Peanuts'', Jeff Pidgeon dreamed of becoming a newspaper cartoonist. He studied and graduated with a BFA degree from the California Institute of the Arts.
