Duffy Waldorf
James Joseph "Duffy" Waldorf, Jr. (born August 20, 1962) is an American professional golfer who plays on the PGA Tour Champions. He was previously a member of the PGA Tour, where he won four times. Biography Waldorf was born in Los Angeles, California. He attended UCLA where he was on the golf team from 1982 to 1985. He was a two-time NCAA All-American, 1985 College Player of the Year, and was selected for the 1985 Walker Cup. Waldorf turned professional in 1985 and joined the PGA Tour. Waldorf's career PGA Tour earnings are over $11.9 million. He has featured in the top 50 of the Official World Golf Rankings, peaking at 35th in 2000. Grant Waite
Grant Osten Waite (born 11 August 1964) is a New Zealand professional golfer. Waite was born in Palmerston North, New Zealand. He has one PGA Tour victory, the Kemper Open in 1993, and finished second to Tiger Woods at the 2000 Bell Canadian Open. Waite won the New Zealand Open and the Trafalgar Capital Classic in 1992, and the Utah Open in 1993. In 1996, Waite shot a final round 60 in the Phoenix Open. David Duval
David Robert Duval (born November 9, 1971) is an American professional golfer and former World No. 1 Golfer who competed on the PGA Tour and currently plays on the PGA Tour Champions. Duval won 13 PGA Tour tournaments between 1997 and 2001; including one major title, The Open Championship in 2001. Duval received his PGA Tour card in 1995, earning it after becoming two-time ACC Player of the Year, 1993 National Player of the Year, and playing two years on the Nike Tour (where he won twice). Between 1997 and 2000, Duval finished all four seasons top-5 on the PGA Tour's money list, including being the leading money winner and scoring leader in 1998. Michelob Championship At Kingsmill
The Michelob Championship at Kingsmill was a golf tournament on the PGA Tour from 1968 to 2002. It was played in Virginia at the River Course of Kingsmill Golf Club outside of Williamsburg, from 1981 to 2002. From 1977 through 1995, it was known as the Anheuser-Busch Golf Classic. The event was founded in 1968 as the Kaiser International Open Invitational, which was played in northern California at Silverado Country Club in Napa through 1980. In its second year, it was played twice. At the second edition in January 1969, three days of rain washed out the final two rounds of play and 36-hole leader Miller Barber was declared the winner, but only half the prize money was distributed. Steve Flesch
Stephen J. Flesch (born May 23, 1967) is an American professional golfer who currently plays on the PGA Tour Champions. He was a four-time winner on the PGA Tour, and worked briefly as a TV golf analyst for Fox Sports and Golf Channel before joining the PGA Tour Champions. Early life Flesch was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, and attended Covington Catholic High School in Park Hills, Kentucky. After graduation, he played golf at the University of Kentucky and turned professional in 1990. Professional career Flesch finished in the top ten on the Asia Golf Circuit Order of Merit in 1993, 1994 and 1996. The Walt Disney World Golf Classic was an annual golf tournament on the PGA Tour. The tournament was played on the Palm and Magnolia courses at the Walt Disney World Resort. It was played under several names, reflecting sponsorship changes. The tournament was founded in 1971 as the Walt Disney World Open Invitational. From 1974 to 1981, the tournament was played as a two-man team event with a better-ball format. Title sponsors have included Oldsmobile, National Car Rental, Funai, and Children's Miracle Network. Ted Tryba
Ted Tryba (born January 15, 1967) is an American professional golfer who has played on the PGA Tour and the Nationwide Tour. Tryba was born in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. He played at Ohio State University. When he was four years old, he lost the sight in his left eye as the result of a freak accident. "I was standing in my yard on a windy day watching a big branch fall out of a tree. It got on me quick and hit me in the eye." All he could do was learn to adjust to his vision handicap. "I really had no big adjustments to make," he said. "If there is such a thing as a lucky accident, I guess that was it. If it had happened when I was a teenager or in my 20s, I may have had some problems. I see things a little different than everybody else. The Texas Open, known as the Valero Texas Open for sponsorship reasons, is a professional golf tournament on the PGA Tour, played near San Antonio, Texas. The FedEx St. Jude Championship, founded as the Westchester Classic in 1967, is a professional golf tournament on the PGA Tour. Since 2007, it has been played as the first tournament of the playoff system for the FedEx Cup, with the field limited to the top 125 players on the FedEx Cup points list at the end of the regular season. For sponsorship reasons, the tournament has previously been titled as The Northern Trust, The Barclays, and the Buick Classic.
