DuckTales (magazine)
''DuckTales'' is an American animated television series produced by Disney Television Animation. The original cartoon series premiered on Broadcast syndication, syndication and on Disney Channel on September 18, 1987 and ran for a total of 100 episodes over four seasons, with its final episode airing on November 28, 1990. Based upon ''Uncle Scrooge'' and other Duck universe comic books created by Carl Barks, the show follows Scrooge McDuck, his three grandnephews Huey, Dewey, and Louie, and close friends of the group, on various adventures, most of which either involve seeking out treasure or thwarting the efforts of villains seeking to steal Scrooge's fortune or his Number One Dime. Mark Mueller
Mark Mueller (born July 11, 1957) is an American songwriter. A two-time winner of the ASCAP Pop Award for writing one of the Most Performed Songs of the year, he has had three ''Billboard'' Hot 100 Top Ten singles and one #1 Adult Contemporary hit. He co-wrote #1 hits " Crush" by Jennifer Paige and "That's What Love Is For" by Amy Grant and wrote both words and music for the Top 10 hit " Nothin' At All" by Heart. Songs he has written have been featured on RIAA-certified gold and platinum records in four consecutive decades: the 1980s, 1990s, 2000s and 2010s; and on the Billboard Top 10 charts for 30 years. ''Darkwing Duck'' is an American animated superhero comedy television series produced by Disney Television Animation (formerly Walt Disney Television Animation) that first ran from 1991 to 1992 on both the syndicated programming block ''The Disney Afternoon'' and Saturday mornings on ABC. A total of ninety-one episodes were aired. It features the adventures of Darkwing Duck, who is the superheroic alter-ego of ordinary suburban duck Drake Mallard. ''DuckTales'' is an American animated television series, developed by Matt Youngberg and Francisco Angones, and produced by Disney Television Animation. The series is a reboot of the original 1987 series of the same name, itself an adaptation of '' Uncle Scrooge'' and other Duck universe comic books created by Carl Barks, which focused on the lives of Scrooge McDuck and his family as they engaged in a variety of adventures around the world, as well as in the fictional city of Duckburg. The reboot itself focuses on newer elements and deeper character stories, including a greater involvement of Donald Duck. The series premiered on August 12, 2017, with a 44-minute long pilot episode on Disney XD, before the first season was green-lit for broadcast from September 23 that year on Disney XD. Alan Burnett
Alan Burnett (; born February 17, 1950) is an American television writer-producer particularly associated with Warner Bros. Animation, Hanna-Barbera Productions, DC Comics, and Walt Disney Television Animation, Walt Disney television animation. He has had a hand in virtually every DC animated project since the waning years of the ''Super Friends''. Burnett's contributions for Disney were largely a part of the 1990s ''The Disney Afternoon, Disney Afternoon'', where he was attached to the ''Disney's Adventures of the Gummi Bears'' and various projects set in the Scrooge McDuck universe. Fred Wolf (born September 13, 1932) is an American animator. His works include the 1967 short subject '' The Box'', for which he won an Academy Award; television specials such as ''The Point!'' and '' Free to Be...You and Me'', and television series such as ''Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles'', ''James Bond Jr.'', and Sarah Ferguson’s '' Budgie the Little Helicopter''. Alan Louis Zaslove (December 9, 1927 – October 2, 2019) was an American animator, producer and director of animated series. He started in 1943 as an "office boy" for Leon Schlesinger Productions and went on to work for United Productions of America. He did animation for ''Gerald McBoing-Boing'' and '' Mr. Magoo''.
