Dublin AFL Divisions 3 – 12B
The Dublin adult football league is divided up into a tier system of 13 teams. These teams range from the top two Divisions one and two and eleven other divisions, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 North and South. The winner of each league title goes on to qualify for the next highest ranking division. AFL Division 3 The 2021 Division 3 Final, played on August 28th was won by St. Mary's Saggart who alongside runners up St Patrick's, Donabate will qualify for the Division 2 of the Dublin Adult Football League. Roll of honour AFL Division 4 The 2022 Division 4 League was won by Cuala who alongside runners up St Sylvesters will qualify for the Division 3 of the Dublin Adult Football League. St Mary's GAA (Dublin)
St Mary's is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in Saggart, County Dublin, Ireland. Mary's have won the Dublin Senior Football Championship on one occasion in 1921. Since then they had been relegated to the Dublin Intermediate Football Championship and regained their senior status in 1976 and have remained a Senior club ever since. St Mary's currently play in the Dublin AFL Division 2. Five St Mary's players were on the Dublin team which won the 1942 All Ireland Final against Galway. The five players were Paddy Bermingham, Gerry Fitzgerald, Peter O'Reilly, Caleb Crone and Paddy O'Connor. Caleb Crone also won an All-Ireland medal with Cork in 1945. Fingallians GAA
Fingallians is a Gaelic Athletic Association club in Swords, County Dublin, Ireland. Founded in 1884, Fingallians are one of the oldest clubs in Dublin and they are based at Lawless Memorial Park. History The club caters for Gaelic football, hurling, Ladies football and camogie, at all age groups. They currently play football in the Dublin Intermediate Football Championship, having been relegated from the senior grade in 2011. They have never won the Dublin Senior Football Championship but won the Intermediate Championship in 1957. Fingallians have reached the Dublin Intermediate Football Championship final in the three seasons they have played at the grade since being relegated. They lost finals by four points to Cuala in 2012 and to Naomh Ólaf in 2013 and by three points to Castleknock in 2014. Trinity Gaels GAA
Trinity Gaels is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in Donaghmede in Dublin, Ireland. Trinity Gaels were founded in 1975 to cater for the growing population in the Donaghmede area. The club got their name from the local Roman Catholic parish name, the parish of the Holy Trinity. Gaels won the Dublin Intermediate Football Championship in 1994 and therefore qualified to senior status. For the past few seasons Gaels have been playing in Division 1 of the league. Trinity Gaels played in Fr Collins Park, Hole in the Wall Road, until the middle of the 2006 season when they moved to new purpose-built grounds including clubhouse and floodlit pitches on Drumnigh Road. Man-O-War GAA
Man-O-War GFC is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in Man of War, Fingal in Ireland. History The club was founded in 1946 following a 'challenge' match between Hedgestown and the Man Of War. Both sides had difficulty fielding a full team, so they decided to amalgamate. Johnny Jones was a founder member of the club. In 1954 the club won its first trophy – the Nugent Cup for the Fingal Junior League. Eleven years later, the club won its next trophy – the Jubilee Cup – when it defeated Starlights in Ballyboughal. This win sparked a renewed enthusiasm and juvenile teams were formed. These juveniles were eventually to form the nucleus of the team which won many competitions in the Fingal League and achieved the club's crowning glory in 1979, the Dublin Junior Football Championship. St Margaret's GAA is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in the St. Margaret's area of north County Dublin, near Dublin Airport. The club, which was founded in 1908, has its grounds at Kilreesk. The club has 3 adult teams, a minor boys team, 4 ladies teams and 5 juvenile teams. The club won the first of many Fingal Championships in 1928 and further victories followed in 1957, 1958, 1963, 1965, 1979, 1981, 1987, 1988 and 1994. During the late 1930s and early 1940s, St Margaret's had a three-in-a-row win in the Loving Cup from 1937 to 1939, and success in the Dublin Junior Football Championship in 1940.
