Dubai Initiative
The Dubai Initiative (DI) was a joint venture between the Dubai School of Government (DSG) and Harvard Kennedy School at Harvard University. Established in 2004, it was based at the Kennedy School's Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs. The Dubai Initiative was closed on 31 December 2011. The Mohammed Bin Rashid School of Government, previously known as Dubai School of Government, is a research and teaching institution in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, which focuses on public policy in the Arab world. The school was established in 2005 by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai. Belfer Center For Science And International Affairs
The Robert and Renée Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs, also known as the Belfer Center, is a research center located within the Harvard Kennedy School at Harvard University, in the United States. From 2017 until his death in October, 2022, the center was led by Director Ash Carter, former U.S. Secretary of Defense and Co-Director Eric Rosenbach, former U.S. Assistant Secretary of Defense.
