''Drømmeslottet'' ( en, The Dream Castle) is a 1986 Norwegian drama film written and directed by Petter Vennerød and Svend Wam, starring a large ensemble cast including Lasse Lindtner and Mari Maurstad Mari Maurstad (born 17 March 1957) is a Norwegian actress. She debuted at Nationaltheatret (the National Theatre) in 1981, and has worked there since. Here she has had roles such as Polly in Brecht's ''The Threepenny Opera'', and Mrs. Sørby in .... The film is part of a trilogy by the directors, where the other two instalments were titled '' Åpen framtid'' (1983) and '' Adjø solidaritet'' (1985). Three couples who have known each other since early youth decide to move in together, but soon run into difficulties. He was best known for his collaborations with Petter Vennerød, creating fourteen films under the moniker ''Wam og Vennerød''. Wam died in Vestby after a lengthy illness, aged 71. Birgitte Victoria Svendsen (born 14 December 1957) is a Norwegian actress. For her stage work she has won one Hedda Award. Career Svendsen was initially employed at Rogaland Teater from 1980. Following employments at Fjernsynsteatret from 1982 and Riksteatret from 1984, she returned to Rogaland Teater in 1986. From 1990 on she has been a cast member at Oslo Nye Teater. Mari Maurstad (born 17 March 1957) is a Norwegian actress. She debuted at Nationaltheatret (the National Theatre) in 1981, and has worked there since. Here she has had roles such as Polly in Brecht's ''The Threepenny Opera'', and Mrs. Sørby in Ibsen's ''The Wild Duck''. She has also acted in outdoor performances of Ibsen's Peer Gynt, and in several one-woman shows. In film and television she is best known for her roles in ''Drømmeslottet'' (1986) and ''Pilen flyttebyrå'' (TV, 1987).
