Drivex
Drivex is an auto racing team and school based in Spain. The team was founded by Pedro de la Rosa and Miguel Ángel de Castro in 2005 as a racing school. The racing team is run by Miguel Ángel de Castro. History Single-seaters Since 2009, Drivex have been contesting the Euroformula Open Championship, with the likes of Celso Míguez, Ferdinand Habsburg and Nikita Troitskiy achieving top three finishes in the drivers' championships. In November 2018, Drivex announced it would expand into the Formula Renault Eurocup championship for 2019, in collaboration with Fernando Alonso's FA Racing outfit. 2019 F4 Spanish Championship
The 2019 F4 Spanish Championship was the fourth season of the Spanish F4 Championship. It was a multi-event motor racing championship for open wheel, formula racing cars regulated according to FIA Formula 4 regulations, taking place in Spain. The championship featured drivers competing in 1.4 litre Tatuus-Abarth single seat race cars that conformed to the technical regulations for the championship. The series was organised by RFEDA. Championship Points were awarded to the top ten classified finishers in races 1 and 3 and for the top eight classified finishers in race 2. No points were awarded for pole position or fastest lap. Franco Colapinto
Franco Alejandro Colapinto (born 27 May 2003) is an Argentine-Italian racing driver who is due to compete in FIA Formula 3 for MP Motorsport. He is the 2019 F4 Spanish champion and a race winner in the European Le Mans Series. He is a member of the Williams Driver Academy. Career Karting Colapinto started karting at the age of nine. He won the Argentinian Championship in 2016 and again in 2018, alongside a victory in the 2018 Youth Summer Olympics. Nikita Troitskiy ( rus, Никита Троицкий; born 16 April 1999 in Ekenäs) is a Finnish-born Russian driver. Career Karting Born in Ekenäs, Finland, but raised in St. Petersburg, Troitskiy competed in karting for a number of years after some encouragement from fellow countryman Robert Shwartzman. Ayrton Simmons (born 29 April 2001) is a British-Spanish racing driver, who last competed in the 2022 Euroformula Open Championship. He previously competed in the 2022 FIA Formula 3 Championship for Charouz Racing System. He is the vice-champion of the 2018 F4 British and the 2021 GB3 Championship. The 2019 Formula Renault Eurocup is a multi-event motor racing championship for open wheel, formula racing cars held across Europe. The championship features drivers competing in 1.8 litre Formula Renault single seat race cars that conform to the technical regulations for the championship. 2009 European F3 Open Championship
The 2009 European F3 Open Championship was the first season with the new championship denomination after eight seasons of the Spanish Formula Three Championship. It began on 2 May 2009 in Valencia and will end on 1 November in Montmeló after 16 rounds in five different countries. The main Class A title was claimed by Bruno Méndez, holding off Celso Míguez by just two points. Callum MacLeod won the secondary Copa F306/300, as well as finishing ninth in the overall championship. F4 Spanish Championship
The F4 Spanish Championship ( es, Campeonato de España de Fórmula 4) is an FIA Formula 4 racing series. The championship was planned to launch in 2015, though the inaugural season was cancelled and delayed until 2016. Koiranen GP was the promoter of the championship for the first two seasons. The current promoter is Agrupación Deportiva F4 Spain. History Gerhard Berger and the FIA Singleseater Commission launched the FIA Formula 4 in March 2013. The goal of the Formula 4 is to make the ladder to Formula 1 more transparent. Besides sporting and technical regulations, costs are regulated too. Euroformula Open Championship
The Euroformula Open Championship (formerly the Spanish Formula Three Championship, European F3 Open Championship) is a junior formula racing series based in Spain. It was one of six national and international Formula Three championships in Europe and Scandinavia that together used to form an important part of the established "career ladder" below Formula One. The championship's first season was held in 2001. In 2006, it was branded as the Spanish F3 Championship by Toyota, in deference to its sole engine supplier. 2010 European F3 Open Championship
The 2010 European F3 Open Championship was the second European F3 Open Championship season. The season began on 17 April at Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Valencia, and finished on 31 October at Circuit de Catalunya in Montmeló after 16 races run at eight meetings, four held in Spain, as well as meetings held in Belgium, France, the United Kingdom and Italy. Marco Barba, the 2007 series runner-up, finished the season as champion for the Lebanese team Cedars Motorsport, having clinched the title with a meeting to spare at Jerez.
