''Drishya 2'' is a 2021 Indian Kannada-language crime thriller film directed by P. Vasu and produced by Zee Studios and Mukesh R Mehta, Seetharam GVS, CV Sarathi Under E4 Entertainment. The film stars Ravichandran, Navya Nair, Swaroopini, Prabhu, and Asha Sharath. It is a remake of the 2021 Malayalam film ''Drishyam 2'', and a sequel to ''Drishya''. The film released to positive reviews and was a decent hit at the box office. It was one of the successful movies of 2021. Unlike the original which released VOD on Amazon Prime Video, the film saw a theatrical release and was regarded as one of the important movies which attracted the family audiences to theatres. ''Drishyam 2: The Resumption'', or simply ''Drishyam 2'' is a 2021 Indian Malayalam-language crime thriller film written and directed by Jeethu Joseph and produced by Antony Perumbavoor through the company Aashirvad Cinemas.A sequel to their 2013 film ''Drishyam'' and the second installment to the series, the film stars Mohanlal, Meena, Ansiba Hassan, Esther Anil. The story takes place six years after the events of ''Drishyam''. Jeethu wrote the script for ''Drishyam 2'' when the production works of his another film ''Ram'', got interrupted due to COVID-19 pandemic. After a formal announcement made on Mohanlal's 60th birthday, 21 May 2020, the principal photography began on 21 September and concluded on 6 November 2020, while adhering to safety precautions set for preventing the spread of COVID-19. S. Shivaram (28 January 1938 – 4 December 2021), popularly known simply as Shivaram or Shivaramanna, was an Indian actor, producer and director whose Kannada cinema career has spanned six decades. Sahaya Sheelan Shadrach (born 24 March 1966) known by his screen name Sadhu Kokila, is an Indian musician, actor, comedian, film director and producer, and an occasional screenwriter and lyricist who works in Kannada cinema. The term Lāsya , in the context of Hindu mythology, describes the dance performed by the goddess Parvati as it expresses happiness and is filled with grace and beauty. She is believed to have danced the Lāsya in response to the male energy of the cosmic dance of Tandava performed by Lord Shiva.
