Drew Steckenrider
Andrew Paul Steckenrider (born January 10, 1991) is an American professional baseball pitcher in the Oakland Athletics organization. He previously played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Miami Marlins and Seattle Mariners. Career Miami Marlins Steckenrider attended Greater Atlanta Christian School in Norcross, Georgia and played college baseball at the University of Tennessee. In 2011, he played collegiate summer baseball with the Brewster Whitecaps of the Cape Cod Baseball League. He was drafted by the Miami Marlins in the eighth round of the 2012 Major League Baseball Draft and he signed. After signing, Steckenrider made his professional debut that same year for the Jamestown Jammers and spent the whole season there, going 1-2 with a 3.72 ERA in ten games (eight starts). Miami Marlins
The Miami Marlins are an American professional baseball team based in Miami. The Marlins compete in Major League Baseball (MLB) as a member club of the National League (NL) East division. The club's home ballpark is LoanDepot Park. The franchise began play as an expansion team in the 1993 season as the Florida Marlins. The Marlins originally played home games at Joe Robbie Stadium, which they shared with the National Football League (NFL)'s Miami Dolphins. Kevin Padlo
Kevin Michael Padlo (born July 15, 1996) is an American professional baseball third baseman in the Los Angeles Angels organization. The Colorado Rockies selected Padlo in the fifth round of the 2014 Major League Baseball draft. He made his MLB debut in 2021. He previously played for the Tampa Bay Rays, Seattle Mariners, San Francisco Giants and Pittsburgh Pirates. The Tacoma Rainiers are a Minor League Baseball team of the Pacific Coast League (PCL) and the Triple-A affiliate of the Seattle Mariners. They are located in Tacoma, Washington, and play their home games at Cheney Stadium, which opened in 1960. David Edward Phelps (born October 9, 1986) is an American former professional baseball pitcher. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the New York Yankees, Miami Marlins, Seattle Mariners, Toronto Blue Jays, Chicago Cubs, Milwaukee Brewers, and Philadelphia Phillies. The Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp are a Minor League Baseball team of the International League (IL) and the Triple-A affiliate of the Miami Marlins. They are located in Jacksonville, Florida, and are named for shrimp caught in the area. The team plays their home games at 121 Financial Ballpark, which opened in 2003. They previously played at Sam W. Wolfson Baseball Park from 1962 until the end of the 2002 season. The Jupiter Hammerheads are a Minor League Baseball team of the Florida State League and the Single-A affiliate of the Miami Marlins. The Florida Complex League Marlins are a Rookie-level affiliate of the Miami Marlins, competing in the Florida Complex League of Minor League Baseball. Tommy John Surgery
Ulnar collateral ligament reconstruction, colloquially known as Tommy John surgery (TJS), is a surgical graft procedure where the ulnar collateral ligament in the medial elbow is replaced with either a tendon from elsewhere in the patient's body, or with one from a deceased donor. The procedure is common among collegiate and professional athletes in several sports, particularly in baseball. The procedure was devised in 1974 by orthopedic surgeon Frank Jobe, a Los Angeles Dodgers team physician who served as a special advisor to the team until his death in 2014.
