Julian-Drew Building
The Julian-Drew Building is a historic building in Tucson, Arizona. It was built in 1937 by A.C. Rosewell for businessmen William Armine Julian and W. E. Drew. With Tenants included a car dealership called the Tucson Overland Company and a hotel called the Lewis Hotel. The building has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since March 29, 1996. Schindhelm-Drews House
The Schindhelm-Drews House is a historic building located in Iowa City, Iowa, United States. It is a well preserved example of residential architecture from the 19th century in the Goosetown neighborhood. with The original section of the house was built of stone in 1855 by Christian Schindhelm. It was expanded to its present size with frame additions during the ownership of August and Henriette Drews sometime between 1867 and 1899. The 1½-story structure is a combination of vernacular forms and simplified decorative features The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1994. Elvira Drew Three-Decker
The Elvira Drew Three-Decker is an historic three-decker in Worcester, Massachusetts. Built c. 1904, it represents part of a trend of building the form, traditionally associated with working-class housing, into the fashionable west side of the city. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1990, but its historic integrity has been compromised by the application of modern siding. Description and history The Elvira Drew Three-Decker is located in a densely built residential area west of downtown Worcester, on the west side of Abbott Street near its southern end. It is a three-story wood-frame structure, with a gabled roof and exterior now finished in modern siding. The front facade has a projecting window bay on the left, and a three-story porch stack on the right, whose porches extend beyond the left bay. Charles Richard Drew House
The Charles Richard Drew House is a historic house at 2505 1st Street in Arlington, Virginia. A vernacular early 20th-century dwelling, it is of national significance as the home from 1920 to 1939 of Charles Richard Drew (1904–50), an African-American physician whose leadership on stockpiling of blood plasma saved lives during World War II. The National Park Service designated the house as a National Historic Landmark in 1976 in response to a nomination by the Afro-American Bicentennial Corporation.(1) (2) and Description and history The Drew House is located in a modest residential area in central Arlington, just northeast of the corner of 1st Street South and South Cleveland Street.
