Sure Shot Redemption
''Sure Shot Redemption'' is the debut solo album by the Black Sheep member Dres. It was released in 1999 through Ground Control Records. Critical reception ''Exclaim!'' wrote that Dres's "voice still boasts a suave demeanour and shines on jazzy selections 'As I Look Back' and 'Hi & Lo', but his lyrical content is now reflective and spiritual; no strobe light honeys here." ''Miami New Times'' thought that "on slower songs like 'As I Look Back' and 'Hi & Lo', Dres unveils the wise man that always seemed nascent in Black Sheep's wiseass tone." Track listing #"Pardon Me" (Single) #"As I Look Back" #"Damn Right" #"Hi & Lo" #"Never Say" (featuring The Legion) #"Start of Somethin' Big" #"Sky's the Limit" (featuring The Legion) #"Endz" #"It's Going Down" (featuring Chi-Ali Chi-Ali Griffith (born May 27, 1976), better known by his stage name Chi-Ali, is an American rapper from The Bronx, New York City, best known for his debut album, '' The Fabulous Chi-Ali'', released in 1992, and as ...

The Prelude
''The Prelude or, Growth of a Poet's Mind; An Autobiographical Poem '' is an autobiographical poem in blank verse by the English poet William Wordsworth. Intended as the introduction to the more philosophical poem ''The Recluse,'' which Wordsworth never finished, ''The Prelude'' is an extremely personal work and reveals many details of Wordsworth's life. Wordsworth began ''The Prelude'' in 1798, at the age of 28, and continued to work on it throughout his life. He never gave it a title, but called it the "Poem (title not yet fixed upon) to Coleridge" in his letters to his sister Dorothy Wordsworth. The poem was unknown to the general public until the final version was published three months after Wordsworth's death in 1850. Its present title was given to it by his widow Mary. Versions There are three versions of the poem: * The 1799 ''Prelude'', called the ''Two-Part Prelude'', composed 1798–1799, containing the first two parts of the later poem. * The 1805 ''Prelude'', which w ...

Puerto Rican People
Puerto Ricans ( es, Puertorriqueños; or boricuas) are the people of Puerto Rico, the inhabitants, and citizens of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico and their descendants. Overview The culture held in common by most Puerto Ricans is referred to as a Western culture largely derived from the traditions of Spain, and more specifically Andalusia and the Canary Islands. Puerto Rico has also received immigration from other parts of Spain such as Catalonia as well as from other European countries such as France, Ireland, Italy and Germany. Puerto Rico has also been influenced by African culture, with many Puerto Ricans partially descended from Africans, though Afro-Puerto Ricans of unmixed African descent are only a significant minority. Also present in today's Puerto Ricans are traces (about 10-15%) of the aboriginal Taino natives that inhabited the island at the time of the European colonizers in 1493. Recent studies in population genetics have concluded that Puerto Rican gene poo ...

Honor Titus
Honor Titus (born July 18, 1989) is an American artist who lives and works in Los Angeles, California. Since his first solo exhibition in 2019, he has received international recognition for his painting practice, which weaves together a surreal, expressive iconography with references drawn variously from literature, art history, music, architecture and American advertising traditions. As the artist Henry Taylor wrote of Titus in Interview magazine, "Titus has struck out on his own with a series of romantic, figurative paintings that conjure nostalgic, art-historical vignettes (the leisure of lawns, car culture, dances), but casts them through a gripping surrealistic lens that feels startlingly fresh." He currently resides in Los Angeles, California. Life Born in Brooklyn, New York in 1989, Titus came to prominence in the New York punk rock scene in the early 2010s as the lead singer of the band Cerebral Ballzy (2009-2015).
