''Dreamwatch'' was a British magazine covering science fiction and fantasy films, books and television programmes. Published monthly by Gary Leigh (July 1983 to January 2001) and then Titan Magazines (2001 to 2007), it was a leading genre entertainment magazine, competing with '' SFX'' and ''Cinescape'' in the genre magazine market. Overview The publication began life in July 1983 as an amateur fanzine dedicated to the popular science-fiction television series ''Doctor Who'', and was published under the title ''Doctor Who Bulletin''. In this form, it became well known for taking a generally critical tone towards the later seasons of the programme, particularly the work of producer John Nathan-Turner, who was subjected to several personal attacks in its pages. Titan Magazines is the magazine-publishing division of Titan Publishing Group. Titan Magazines' publishing directors are Ricky Claydon and John Dziewiatkowski. History Titan Magazines launched in 1995 with '' Star Trek Magazine'' with John Freeman as first editor, although it had previously published several one shot film tie-in titles. Since then it has published many film, TV and comics titles, including poster magazines for Tim Burton's '' Batman''. Some of Titan's magazines are published in the US, although not all, some with an entirely separate magazine. In April 2016, Bleeding Cool published a blog/vlog entry pertaining to concerns over Titan's UK reprints of DC titles, specifically cancellations and a lack of updates and communication with readers, as well as addressing the frequent inconsistencies regarding the publication dates of future issues. The ''Doctor Who'' Appreciation Society (DWAS) is a society for fans of the television series '' Doctor Who''. It was founded in May 1976, emerging from the Westfield College ''Doctor Who'' Appreciation Society and the editors and readers of the fanzine ''Tardis''. The society produces a monthly print magazine, ''Celestial Toyroom'' (sent to the society's members), a quarterly digital magazine, ''Cosmic Masque'' (free to access via the DWAS website), hosts conventions, organises a network of local groups, and provides discounts to members for ''Doctor Who''-related merchandise for sale on the society's online shop. Kevin Stoney
Kevin Stoney (22 January 1921 – 22 January 2008) was an English actor. He was best known for his television roles, in which he became familiar for his "portrayal of establishment types". During the Second World War, Stoney served with the Royal Air Force. On television, he appeared in three serials of the science fiction series ''Doctor Who'' over a period of ten years, playing Mavic Chen in ''The Daleks' Master Plan'' (1965), Tobias Vaughn in '' The Invasion'' (1968) and Tyrum in ''Revenge of the Cybermen'' (1975). Stoney also appeared in two episodes of another BBC science fiction series, ''Blake's 7'', playing Councillor Joban in the episode ''Hostage'' and Ardus in the episode ''Animals''.
