''Dreamshow'' is a live DVD by Siouxsie Sioux, Siouxsie, released in 2005. It was filmed at the Royal Festival Hall in London in October 2004. The songs are performed on stage with the Millennia Ensemble orchestra. The setlist incorporates music from her bands Siouxsie and the Banshees and the Creatures. Budgie (musician), Budgie, drummer and composer in the two bands, was the musical director on this tour; he re-orchestred the songs with Siouxsie. As said in the interviews present in the bonus of the DVD, this concert represents a musical achievement for Siouxsie and Budgie as they had always wanted to perform on stage with Leonard Eto, a Japanese Taiko drummer previously of the Kodō (taiko group), Kodo Drummers. Siouxsie added that this show was a dream come true as they also played with a fifteen piece orchestra including two percussionists, a brass section and a string section. The Creatures
The Creatures were an English band formed in 1981 by vocalist Siouxsie Sioux and drummer Budgie (musician), Budgie of the group Siouxsie and the Banshees. The Creatures released their first extended play, EP ''Wild Things (EP), Wild Things'' in 1981. They recorded four studio albums: ''Feast (The Creatures album), Feast'' in 1983, ''Boomerang (The Creatures album), Boomerang'' in 1989, ''Anima Animus'' in 1999 and ''Hái!'' in 2003. Siouxsie Sioux
Susan Janet Ballion (born 27 May 1957), known professionally as Siouxsie Sioux, is an English singer, songwriter, musician and record producer. She was the lead singer of the rock band Siouxsie and the Banshees (1976–1996). They released 11 studio albums, and had several UK Top 20 singles including " Hong Kong Garden", "Happy House" and " Peek-a-Boo", plus a US ''Billboard'' Top 25 hit, " Kiss Them for Me". Siouxsie also formed a second group, the Creatures (1981–2005). With the Creatures she recorded four studio albums and the hit single " Right Now". After disbanding the Creatures in the mid-2000s, she has continued as a solo artist, only using the name Siouxsie, and released the album '' Mantaray'' to critical acclaim in 2007. Budgie (musician)
Peter Edward Clarke (born 21 August 1957), known professionally as Budgie, is an English drummer best known as the drummer in Siouxsie and the Banshees. He is also the co-founder of the Creatures. He was the drummer of the Slits in 1979. He was then a member of the band Siouxsie and the Banshees from 1979 to 1996. Budgie worked with other musicians including John Cale, Leonard Eto (formerly of the Kodo Drummers), John Grant and Anohni with Hercules and Love Affair. ''Spin'' rated him at No. 28 in their list of "The 100 Greatest Drummers of Alternative Music", writing: "Post-punk introduced a lot of amazing drummers, but none more influential than Budgie. ''A Kiss in the Dreamhouse'' is the fifth studio album by British rock band Siouxsie and the Banshees. It was released on 5 November 1982 by Polydor Records. The record marked a change of musical direction, as the group used strings for the first time and experimented in the studio. Guitarist John McGeoch played more instruments, including recorder and piano. For Julian Marszalek of ''The Quietus'', the release proved the Banshees to be "one of the great British psychedelic bands." "Face to Face" is a song recorded by English rock band Siouxsie and the Banshees. It was composed by the group along with Danny Elfman and was produced by Stephen Hague. Happy House
"Happy House" is a song written by Siouxsie Sioux and Steven Severin and recorded by their band Siouxsie and the Banshees. It was released as a single in March 1980 by record label Polydor, then later included on the band's third album, ''Kaleidoscope''. "Happy House" was the group's first record made with guitarist John McGeoch and drummer Budgie. Background and recording "Happy House" and the ''Kaleidoscope'' album marked a change in musical direction for Siouxsie and the Banshees due to the arrival of two new musicians: drummer Budgie, previously of the Slits, and guitarist John McGeoch, previously of Magazine. ''Eraser Cut'' is an EP by the Creatures, consisting of singer Siouxsie Sioux and drummer Budgie formerly of Siouxsie and the Banshees. It contains four unreleased songs taken from the '' Anima Animus'' recording sessions which took place in 1995–1996. This EP was later included on the compilation ''U.S. Retrace''. After the last Banshees tour, the Creatures reconvened in autumn 1995. Anima Animus
''Anima Animus'' is the third studio album by British duo the Creatures, consisting of Siouxsie Sioux and musician Budgie, released in 1999. The title of the album was inspired by Carl Jung's concept of anima and animus ("the woman inside the man, the man inside the woman"). Recorded in France and England, the album was a departure from previous Creatures works. While still retaining a percussive element, the music had a more urban sound.
