Dreams For Sale (2012 Film)
is a 2012 Japanese comedy film, directed and written by Miwa Nishikawa. The film stars Sadao Abe, Takako Matsu as the husband and wife, with Teruyuki Kagawa Tamae Ando, Sawa Suzuki, Kana Kurashina, Tae Kimura, Yusuke Iseya, Katsuya Kobayashi, Rena Tanaka, Kyôsuke Yabe, Shōfukutei Tsurube II, Teruyuki Kagawa and Takako Matsu. Plotline Kan and Sato, husband and wife who have just bought a restaurant as their lifelong dream, lose it overnight when it is burnt down by accident. Following the loss of their restaurant, the couple take jobs at a high class established eatery to start saving their money again for a new establishment. In a drunken state, Kan spends the night with a woman who happens to have just been paid off as the mistress of a man that dies. The woman feels sorry for Kan after hearing about his story, and gives him the money. Miwa Nishikawa
is a Japanese director and screenwriter. Nishikawa received a degree in literature from the University of Waseda, and after working on several independent films as well as catching the eye of Hirokazu Kore-eda, her film making career took off with her first film, ''Wild Berries'', which won the award for best screenplay at the Mainichi Film Award. In addition to her film making career, Nishikawa has also written a book titled ''The Long Excuse''. Life and career Nishikawa began her film career as a college student working as a staff member on Hirokazu Koreeda's 1998 film '' After Life''. Tamae Watanabe ( Japanese , ''Watanabe Tamae''; born 21 November 1938, in Yamanashi Prefecture) is a Japanese mountain climber. After completing study at Tsuru University she worked as public office employee of Kanagawa Prefecture. It was at this time, at age 28, she began mountain climbing. In 1977 she climbed Mount McKinley. She then climbed Mont Blanc, Mount Kilimanjaro and Aconcagua. After her retirement she returned to her hometown and in May 2002 she became the then oldest woman to climb Mount Everest. Ten years later, in May 2012, she broke her own record, when she, now at the age of 73, again scaled Mount Everest.
