DreamForge IRCd
DreamForge Intertainment, Inc. was an American computer game developer. History DreamForge was founded as Event Horizon Software, Inc. by the computer game developers Thomas Holmes, Christopher Straka and James Namestka in Greensburg. Until its dissolution the company produced several well-known and awarded computer games, most of them in the genre of role-playing games and strategy video games. After producing several games, the team changed its name to DreamForge Intertainment after learning that its Event Horizon name was shared with a developer of pornographic software. The company was dissolved in 2001 after struggles with its publishers while working on several titles, including the never finished game '' Werewolf: The Apocalypse - The Heart of Gaia'', as well as '' Myst IV'', with the latter being subsequently continued by a different studio. ''Menzoberranzan'' is a 1994 role-playing video game created by Strategic Simulations (SSI) and DreamForge Intertainment. ''Menzoberranzan'' uses the same game engine as SSI's previous game, '' Ravenloft: Strahd's Possession'' (1994), and is set in the ''Advanced Dungeons & Dragons'' Forgotten Realms campaign setting. ''Warhammer 40,000: Rites of War'' is a turn-based strategy game based on the Panzer General 2 engine by SSI. It is set in the fictional ''Warhammer 40,000'' universe. It was produced by Games Workshop in 1999, and concerns the invasion of a Tyranid Hive fleet and the Eldar and Imperial efforts to defeat it. The game was re-released in 2015 on GOG.com. Gameplay The game has three modes. In the "campaign mode" the player controls the Eldar forces and follows the efforts of the Craftworld Iyanden to conquer a Maiden World, a lost colony of the ancient Eldar race. The game features four unique playable alien races on the fictional planet of Yavaun, each with their own histories, ideologies, and story campaigns consisting of seven scenarios each and an ending unique to that race.
