Georges Tron
Georges Tron (born 1 August 1957 in Neuilly-sur-Seine) is a French politician. He served as Secretary of Public Affairs in the Cabinet of François Baroin but resigned after accusations of sexual assault were made against him. He was mayor of Draveil from 1995 to 2021, and only resigned from that role several months into his 3-years prison sentence for rape. Biography Georges Tron received his Baccalauréat at the Lycée Saint-Louis-de-Gonzague in 1975 and a Masters in Public Law. In 1986, he was appointed as parliamentary advisor to Édouard Balladur, then Minister of Economy and Finance. From 1988 to 1993, he served as Chief of Staff for Balladur. From 1997 to 2002, he served as budgetary advisor to the Prime Minister, Lionel Jospin. Charles Euphrasie Kuwasseg
Charles Euphrasie Kuwasseg (1838, Draveil, Essonne – 1904) was a French painter of the 19th century. He essentially specialized in landscape paintings - particularly the coastal landscapes of Brittany and Normandy. His father, Karl Joseph Kuwasseg, was an Austrian born in Trieste on March 16, 1802, and also a renowned painter. His father left for Paris, and took French nationality. He died in Paris in January 1877. The younger Kuwasseg had exhibitions at the Salon of French Artists and the Paris Salon. He won the bronze medal in 1892 at the Salon of French Artists. Charles received his first training from his father and consequently received his formal training studying under Jean Baptiste Henri Durand-Brager and Eugene Isabey. Edmond Louis Antoine Huot de Goncourt (; 26 May 182216 July 1896) was a French writer, literary critic, art critic, book publisher and the founder of the Académie Goncourt. Biography Goncourt was born in Nancy. His parents, Marc-Pierre Huot de Goncourt and Annette-Cécile de Goncourt (née Guérin) were minor aristocrats who died when he and his brother Jules de Goncourt were young adults. His father was a former cavalry officer and squadron commander in the Grande Armée of Napoleon I, and his grandfather Jean-Antoine Huot de Goncourt had been a deputy in the National Assembly of 1789. Edmond attended the pension Goubaux, the Lycée Henri IV, and the Lycée Condorcet. At the Lycée Condorcet, he studied rhetoric and philosophy from 1840 to 1842, followed by the study of law between 1842 and 1844. Juvisy-sur-Orge
Juvisy-sur-Orge (, literally ''Juvisy on Orge'') is a commune in the Essonne department in ÃŽle-de-France in northern France. It is located 18 km south-east of Paris, a few kilometres south of Orly Airport. The site of the town has been occupied from ancient times; it is noted in Julius Caesar's book about the Gallic Wars. Centuries later, it became an important place under the French monarchy, as a royal hotel. It would also be used as a post relay, the first one on the road to Fontainebleau. It became a major road and railway junction in the 1840s after its railway station was built in 1840, and after 1893 was the first city surrounding Paris with a bridge crossing the river Seine. Most of the city was destroyed in April 1944 by an Allied bombing as the city was the only one surrounding Paris that had such a big railway station and had railway lines going to most of France's major cities. Juvisy is a railway station in Juvisy-sur-Orge, Essonne, Île-de-France, France. The station was opened in 1840 and is on the Paris–Bordeaux railway, Villeneuve-Saint-Georges-Montargis railway and Grande Ceinture line, a freight railway around Paris. The station is served by Paris' express suburban rail system, the RER Line C and RER Line D. The train services are operated by SNCF. A TGV high-speed service also serves the station. During a survey in 2015, the station served 33,426,629 passengers in that year.
